2025 Masters Odds, Picks & Predictions: Xander Schauffele
It’s Masters week, arguably the best week of the year for fans of professional golf. The Masters is a rite of spring and the unofficial start of golf season in America.
The best players in the game will take on what many regard as the best and most gorgeous golf course in the world, Augusta National. But Augusta is a treacherous beauty that challenges players with lightning-fast greens, severe elevation changes, narrow passages between trees, and scorecard-wrecking water hazards and bunkers.
Can the No. 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, win his third Green Jacket in four years? Is this finally Rory McIlroy's year? Or will a young star such as Ludvig Aberg or Collin Morikawa prevail at Augusta? And let's not forget about the LIV Tour players. Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed and Sergio Garcia are among the LIV players who have won The Masters before. Maybe it's Bryson DeChambeau's turn this year.
Welcome to the fourth annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We’re going to examine the many wagering opportunities this tournament presents, taking a closer look at the players contending for the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Read on for our 2025 Masters predictions for Xander Schauffele.

Course History
Xander Schauffele has come extremely close to winning The Masters on several occasions, including a second-place finish in 2019 and a third-place performance in 2021. Aside from a missed cut in 2022, the 31-year-old has been a mainstay in the top 20, racking up top-20 finishes in five of his last six appearances.
Schauffele also won both the PGA Championship and the Open Championship in 2024, finally getting the “major-less monkey” off his back.
Recent Form
The American has been relatively inactive since the start of 2025, participating in only four PGA tournaments. However, Schauffele is coming off his strongest performance of the year, a 12th-place finish at the Valspar Championship (-5) in late March. He currently ranks 166th in Strokes Gained: Putting (-0.574) and 69th in Greens in Regulation Percentage (66.7%).
Betting Outlook: 2025 Masters Predictions
Schauffele’s +1800 outright odds are tempting, but I'm reluctant to bet on him given his limited activity this season and past disappointments in majors. Nevertheless, with two consecutive top-10 finishes at The Masters and four in his last six appearances, I'm opting to play him to finish 10th or better at +150.
