2025 Memorial Tournament Odds, Picks & Predictions: Best PGA Bets

The latest Signature Event on the 2025 PGA Tour heads to Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, for the 2025 Memorial Tournament. This is a condensed field of 72 golfers, led by World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who is also the defending champion at Muirfield, making him a short +280 outright betting favorite this week.

Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, and Ludvig Åberg are all between +1600 and +2200 odds. Scheffler is five times shorter than the rest of the field, carding previous finishes of T3-3-1 ahead of his return to Jack Nicklaus’ difficult par 72 course.

Last week’s Charles Schwab Challenge Best PGA Bets settled 0-3. I focused exclusively on the top 30 and top 40 finish betting markets. Unfortunately, Harris English (T53), Brian Harman (T46), and Alex Smalley (MC) all played below their ceiling at Colonial Country Club.

I’ve got three more PGA best bets to tail, each worth one unit, ahead of Round 1 teeing off at Muirfield Village on Thursday morning. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more free bets and weekly PGA Tour analysis.

Top 10 Finish

Xander Schauffele carded a T8 finish at the 2024 Memorial Tournament. He’s slid outside the top 10 in three straight events in 2025 but Schauffele remains a threat anywhere on the golf course.

The California native ranks ninth SG: Approach, 25th in driving distance, 40th at finding greens in regulation and 13th on approach shots from 200+ yards. Shockingly, the short game has been a struggle for Schauffele, which was his bread and butter en route to a pair of major titles in 2024.

Let’s bet a unit on Schauffele to figure out his short game and bounce back with a top 10 finish at Muirfield Village this week at +130 odds.

Pick: Xander Schauffele (+130)

Top 20 Finish

Jordan Spieth is a very volatile golfer in terms of consistency, so it’s a bit uncomfortable backing him for a top 20 finish at the Memorial Tournament. Yes, he missed the cut at Muirfield in 2024 after going +5 but carded a T5 finish here in 2023.

In 2025, Spieth has three top 10 finishes. The past three events have been pedestrian, going T34-MC-T36 but Spieth did log a solo fourth place finish at the CJ CUP Byron Nelson earlier this month.

Ranks 22nd in total strokes gained, including 30th SG: Off-the-Tee, 25th total driving, 34th putting average and 32nd on par 4s. Spieth is also 58th in bogey avoidance and top-50 in total driving efficiency.

The driver is an important club at a lengthy, doglegged track with four-inch rough like Muirfield Village. Spieth has enough talent off-the-tee to manufacture a top 20 finish at this Signature Event.

Let’s bet another unit on him to log a top 20 finish at +125 odds.

Pick: Jordan Spieth (+125)

Top 30 Finish

I’ll wrap up with Robert MacIntyre to record a top 30 finish at -125 odds. The Scotsman will make his debut at Muirfield Village, which is modeled after links-style courses overseas that he grew up playing on.

MacIntyre just posted a T6 finish at the Charles Schwab Challenge at -7-under-par, including a 64 in Round 3. He’s ranked 28th in total strokes gained, which includes 23rd SG: Tee-to-Green, 20th SG: Off-the-Tee, and 29th SG: Approach.

SG: Putting sits at 113th, while 102nd in scrambling. Hitting 69.5 percent of greens in regulation is 14th on the PGA Tour, while occupying the top 40 in scoring average, par 4 average and birdie average.

Last week’s T6 finish ended a five-event slump for MacIntyre outside the top 30. I think he’ll ride this momentum and lean on his tee-to-green efficiency to wind up with a second straight top 30 finish for the second time this season.

Let’s grab the value on MacIntyre in this top 30 finish betting market at -125 odds.

Pick: Robert MacIntyre (-125)
