2025 Memorial Tournament Odds, Picks, & Predictions: Longshot Bets

It’s time to take a look at some of the longshot golfers in the PGA Tour outright winner betting market for the 2025 Memorial Tournament this week. Scottie Scheffler won this Signature Event in 2024, so he’s as short as +280 before Round 1 tees off on Thursday.

It’s been a tough season for my longshot outrights so far but there have been a lot of winners with lucrative odds in 2025. We were in the right range at the Charles Schwab Challenge on Sunday, with Ben Griffin cashing as a 65-1 betting favorite. Instead, I recommended Lucas Glover (+7000) who logged a T22 finish.

We’re due to hit a longshot and it could happen at a difficult course like Muirfield Village Golf Club, especially with 72 of the PGA Tour’s top-ranked golfers. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more free bets and weekly PGA Tour analysis.

These plays are .25u and .10u, or 0.25% and 0.10% of your betting bankroll. Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Rickie Fowler (+8000)

Rickie Fowler has played the Memorial Tournament 15 times during his PGA Tour career. He’s coming off of a T16 finish at Colonial and a T15 finish at the Truist Championship, which was the last Signature Event played on May 11th.

Fowler is a bomber off-the-tee, which is why his game translates to Muirfield’s lengthy par 72 course. Has two runner-up finishes and four top 10s at the Memorial Tournament, despite missing the cut in 2024.

Ranked 66th SG: Off-the-Tee, including 21st total driving. 66th scrambling and 49th in putts per round helps counter ranking outside the top 100 in SG: Approach and greens in regulation percentage.

Let’s bet a quarter unit (0.25) on Fowler to win the 2025 Memorial Tournament at 80-1 odds.

Nick Taylor (+17000)

Nick Taylor has five wins on the PGA Tour, including earlier this year during the 2025 Sony Open in Hawaii. The Canadian missed the cut during his last outing at Quail Hollow during the PGA Championship after going T17 at the Truist Championship in Philadelphia.

Ranks 44th total strokes gained, 12th SG: Approach, and most importantly, 19th in driving accuracy. Taylor is also 14th at finding greens in regulation at 69.5 percent and 29th in proximity. 37th scrambling, 38th scoring average and 12th on par 4s is also encouraging.

The putter has been atrocious for Taylor in 2025, which is why we’re landing him at 170-1 odds. He’s gone T27-T42 in his last two visits to Muirfield Village Golf Club.

A 0.10 unit wager returns 17 units of profit if Taylor heats up with his tee-to-green accuracy and contends for his second outright win at the Memorial Tournament this week.
