McIlroy completed the career grand slam with his win at Augusta. If he wins again this week, he'll be halfway to a true grand slam. McIlroy has fared well at Quail Hollow throughout his career, having won four tournaments there. It's a course that favors big hitters — right up McIlroy's alley.

Thomas won the PGA Championship in 2022 at Southern Hills, and in 2017 at Quail Hollow. Since his win in 2017, Thomas has played four tournaments at Quail Hollow, making the cut all four times but never finishing higher than 14th.

Recent Form

Thomas is arguably the hottest golfer in the game right now. Through eleven tournaments this year JT has one win, three runner-up finishes, six top-ten finishes and zero missed cuts. His last two tournaments were a win at the RBC Heritage and a 2nd-place finish at the Truist Championship last weekend. The only cold water you could throw on the season for JT so far would be his 36th place finish at the only other major this year, The Masters.
