2025 Travelers Championship Picks & Predictions: Best PGA Bets
The final Signature Event of the 2025 PGA Tour season will be hosted at TPC River Highlands during the 2025 Travelers Championship. Scottie Scheffler returns after his 2024 Travelers Championship victory, beating Tom Kim in a one-hole playoff, finishing 22-under-par.
TPC River Highlands is a par 70 that was among the easiest courses in terms of scoring average last season. Water hazards and trees are frequent hazards here, unlike last week’s links-style course at Oakmont during the 2025 U.S. Open. Greens remain Poa annua but are expected to run just 12 feet via Stimpmeter. One of the shortest par 70s on the PGA Tour at 6,844 yards.
Scottie Scheffler remains the betting favorite at +280 odds ahead of his title defense. Behind the World No. 1 sits Rory McIlroy (+1100), Xander Schauffele (+1400), Collin Morikawa (+1800) and Patrick Cantlay at +2200 odds.
Last week, my 2025 U.S. Open Best PGA Bets finished 2-1, making it a profitable week at Oakmont. Only Taylor Pendrith fell short of cashing a T30 finish. The other two best bets both settled as wins at plus odds. Ben Griffin logged a T10 finish, easily cashing his Top 30 finish prop at +125 odds. Lucas Glover also missed the cut at even odds (+100), missing the cut by one stroke at +8.
I’ve got three more PGA best bets to tail ahead of Round 1 at the Travelers Championship on Thursday. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for additional free bets and weekly PGA Tour analysis.

Top 20 Finish
The 2023 Travelers Championship winner, Keegan Bradley, returns to TPC River Highlands as a relatively short 35-1 betting favorite ahead of Round 1. Bradley set a 72-hole record, shooting 257 (-23), going 6-under-par or lower in each of his first three rounds.
Bradley is coming off of a T33 at the U.S. Open. He’s logged three top 20 finishes across his previous six outings at the Travelers Championship.
The U.S. Ryder Cup captain has four top 10 finishes in 2025 and is ranked 13th total strokes gained. This includes 26th SG: Off-the-Tee and 28th SG: Approach. Also 19th total driving, including top 50 for driving accuracy, 32nd proximity and 17th on par 4s.
Let’s back Bradley to record a top 20 finish at plus odds at a course where his tee-to-green accuracy usually shines bright.
Pick: Keegan Bradley (+125)
Top 10 Finish
Sepp Straka hasn’t played well at majors this season. Outside of majors, however, the Austrian has been dialed in on the golf course in 2025.
Straka has one top 10 finish (10th) in six appearances at TPC River Highlands, which happened in 2021. Coming off of his second best finish (23) in 2024.
Ranked very highly in a lot of critical metrics, including third total strokes gained and SG: Approach. 23rd SG: Putting, ninth driving accuracy, second at finding greens in regulation and fifth proximity. Sixth putting average, fifth scoring average, 12th par 4s and second birdie average.
At +280, it’s worth backing Straka to post his sixth top 10 finish in 2025 ahead of Round 1 at the Travelers Championship.
Pick: Sepp Straka (+280)
Top 30 Finish
We’ve seen several strong performances from Andrew Novak this season. The 30-year-old North Carolina native won the Zurich Classic alongside Ben Griffin, following a runner-up loss to Justin Thomas in a playoff during a Signature Event at the RBC Heritage.
Novak has not played well at TPC River Highlands in two appearances. He missed the cut in 2023 and carded a pedestrian 46th finish during his debut in 2022.
He’s a year removed from this event and will be looking for a better outing due to his current form. Novak ranks 37th total strokes gained. He’s 57th proximity, 54th scrambling and 12th sand save percentage.
Novak is ninth in putts per round, which could help him climb into T30 on the leaderboard by Sunday afternoon. Rattled off four top 20 finishes between April and May, before sliding into T51 and T42 at the Memorial Tournament and U.S. Open.
Let’s bet on Novak to record a top 30 finish in a bounce-back spot at TPC River Highlands this week.
Pick: Andrew Novak (+125)
