Today’s 2025 Unrivaled League Best Bets: Friday
Here are our top picks for today’s 2025 Unrivaled League action.
Rose BC vs. Lunar Owls BC
The Lunar Owls have played eight games, and the Lunar Owls have won eight games. Napheesa Collier, of the Owls, leads with 29.3 points per game (PPG) through eight outings, nearly two buckets per game bettter than Kayla McBride (25.4 PPG) of the Laces. These teams met on Jan. 18, with the Lunar Owls topped Rose 79-70. There have been some near-misses for Lunar Owls, as three of their eight victories are by four or fewer points, so that could cause bettors some pause. However, Rose has split 4-4 through eight games, although it has won the past three outings. Angel Reese has picked up the pace lately, going for 11.3 PPG and 14.0 RPG in the three-game win streak. Against the Lunar Owls on Jan. 18, she managed just six rebounds, tied for her worse performance in Unrivaled play to date. With Phee, Allisha Gray, Skylar Diggins-Smith, etc., the Lunar Owls are just too tough to tame. However, laying the points is risky, as Rose has been red-hot. However, the Lunar Owls have combined for at least 148 points in six of eight games in Unrivaled play to date, including the first game with Rose.
Pick: Over 143.5 (-113)

Vinyl BC vs. Mist BC
We're looking at two bottom teams in the league as they each sit below .500. The Mist looked ready to turn around their season by winning two straight after losing their first four games, but they now come into this game with back-to-back losses. This roster has a lot of talent, including former WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart, who has scored 20+ in four of their last six games. The Mist are great offensively and are third in scoring (67.9), but the defense is below average, which has hurt them most of their losses. That might not hurt them against the Vinyl, who are averaging a league-worse 62.5 points per game. They are also last in rebounds per game (27.5) and second-to-last in assists (10.3). The offense carried the Mist in their previous matchup, and although they allowed the Vinyl to score more than their season average, they still had a defiant 77-67 win. The Mist could lock down another win, but targeting the over looks to be the best bet.
Pick: Over 134.5 (-115)
