Course History

Jordan Spieth was part of the field when the U.S. Open was held at Oakmont in 2016. He shot two over par in the first and second rounds (72), rebounded with an even par in the third round (70), but struggled a little in the final round, shooting a 75.

Spieth first played in the U.S. Open in 2012 as a low amateur (finished T-21). He won the U.S. Open in 2015, but his track record at the tournament has been questionable ever since. In the nine tournaments since, he failed to make the cut three times, and his best finish was T-19 in 2021. He finished T-41 last year.
