2026 3M Open Picks & Predictions: PGA Sleepers
The 3M Open is gearing up for its eighth edition of the tournament at TPC Twin Cities on Thursday. It’s a par 71 that stretches over 7,400 yards, while a field of 144 golfers will have to contend with plenty of water hazards, tall rough, and large bentgrass greens running up to 13 feet via Stimpmeter.
Scottie Scheffler’s debut at the 3M Open has made every other golfer in this field a high price in the outright winner betting market. Behind the World No. 1, who is a short +240 betting favorite, defending champion Kurt Kitayama and Maverick McNealy are next at +2500 odds. Only six golfers are shorter than 40-1 in Blaine, Minnesota this week.
We’ve seen longshots card wins at the 3M Open. Lee Hodges, Jhonattan Vegas and Kurt Kitayama are the three most recent winners following Tony Finau’s 2022 victory. Aldrich Potgieter broke through with his first and only PGA Tour win late last season at the 2025 Rocket Classic. The South African bomber is a volatile golfer, fluctuating between top 10 finishes and missed cuts this year.
TPC Twin Cities can be conquered with lengthy hitting, which Potgieter can certainly take advantage of with his powerful driver. Potgieter leads the PGA Tour in driving distance (330.6) and is also 12th for 200+ yard approach shots.

Lucas Glover (+10000)
Oddsmakers are disrespecting Lucas Glover a bit heading into this event. The veteran has strung together two straight top 5 finishes at the John Deere Classic and ISCO Championship.
Glover has six career wins on the PGA Tour, including two victories in 2023. In 2026, he ranks fifth in driving accuracy and leads all golfers in proximity.
After a T7 during his 3M Open debut, Glover has missed three straight cuts. However, he hasn’t teed off at TPC Twin Cities since 2023. Riding his current momentum wave, while finding fairways and sticking pins, it could be a recipe for Glover to surge up the leaderboard into his first win of 2026.

Zac Blair (+12500)
Zac Blair is still searching for his first win since joining the PGA Tour in 2015. The 35-year-old Utah native has secured two of his three top 10s in 2026 across his previous two tournaments played at the John Deere Classic and ISCO Championship.
Blair has gone T13-MC-T44 at the 3M Open. He’s shot 66 or lower in three of 10 rounds played, meaning Blair is capable of posting red scores in his fourth trip to TPC Twin Cities.
Blair finished the John Deere Classic ranked fifth in SG: Approach and sixth in SG: Putting. Most recently, at the ISCO Championship, he led the field in SG: Around the Green and T7 in driving accuracy.
