2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Picks & Predictions: PGA Longshots
80 golfers are set to descend upon Pebble Beach for the first Signature Event of the 2026 PGA Tour season. Rory McIlroy is set to make his season debut, seeking a title defense against a loaded field.
Last week’s WM Phoenix Open winner wound up going to Chris Gotterup. The New Jersey native took advantage of Hideki Matsuyama’s bogey on the 72nd hole, beating him on the first playoff hole to cash his pre-tournament line at +3300 odds.
Pebble Beach includes Spyglass Hill Golf Course, which will be played once during the first two rounds. Since this is a Signature Event with a condensed field, no cut line will be enforced. Both Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill are par 72s running under 7,100 yards, with an emphasis on approach accuracy, as Poa Annua greens measure on average at just 3.500 square feet.
Scottie Scheffler remains a massive betting favorite at +300 this week. McIlroy is next at a distant +1400 odds, while 2023 Pebble Beach winner Justin Rose is sitting at +2700 odds.
My 2026 WM Phoenix Open Picks & Predictions: PGA Longshots were a bust. All three of my longshot prospects missed the cut, so let’s bounce back with a new approach heading into the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Akshay Bhatia (+6000)
Akshay Bhatia is coming off a strong T3 finish at the WM Phoenix Open. The 24-year-old American has logged T30-T22 in two appearances at Pebble Beach.
What makes Bhatia such an enticing longshot golfer at this event is his combination of tee-to-green accuracy and putting talent. Bhatia’s metrics aren’t eye-popping, yet he sits 31st in birdie average at 4.78 per round.
Following back-to-back missed cuts, Bhatia’s strong outing at TPC Scottsdale could be indicative of bigger things to come in the Monterey Peninsula. The lefty sits at +6000 in the outright winner betting market, while seeking his third career win since 2023.
Let’s bet a quarter unit (0.25) on Bhatia to win the 2026 Pebble Beach Pro-Am at 60-1.
Tom Hoge (+12500)
Tom Hoge has been one of the most consistent iron players on the PGA Tour. Hoge has only one quality finish in four events this season, logging a T8 finish at The American Express.
His lone win came at the 2022 Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Hoge has two top 20 finishes since his win at Pebble Beach, most recently carding a T17 here in 2025.
Ranks 31st in SG: Putting, 27th in proximity, 45th on approach shots from 200+ yards, and 48th on par 4s. Ironically, approach play has not been good for Hoge in 2026, so he might be able to return to form at a course where he’s consistently played well.
At 125-1, we’re landing a massive number on Hoge to climb the leaderboard and grab his second win at Pebble Beach. Let’s bet on Hoge, hoping that he’ll find his irons and fuse them with his hot putter this weekend.
Andrew Novak (+12500)
Andrew Novak enters the 2026 Pebble Beach Pro-Am alongside Tom Hoge at 125-1 in the outright winner betting market. Novak has steadily improved in three trips to the Monterey Peninsula, going from a missed cut to T20 and T13 in 2025.
In 2026, Novak has been up and down, bouncing between missed cuts and a T7 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open. Pebble Beach mirrors Torrey Pines in terms of its difficulty and emphasis on precision, which bodes well for a golfer like Novak.
Novak’s notable metrics include 13th in proximity, 34th in putting average, and 31st in birdie average. Off-the-tee struggles have haunted Novak, so he’ll need to improve his driver accuracy to contend.
Fortunately, Novak sits 12th in approach shots from 50-125 yards, 24th at 75-100 yards, and 25th in fairway proximity. It’s enough to warrant a final 0.25 unit wager on Novak to win at +12500 odds.
