Only the top 30 in the FedExCup rankings will advance to the Tour Championship next week. 50 golfers enter the BMW Championship, with Scottie Scheffler leading the charge following his statement win at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Scheffler’s eight-stroke win has made him a short +300 betting favorite in St. Louis this week.

Sungjae Im (+7000)
We’ve seen Sungjae Im have moments of contention in 2026. He’s fresh off a T5 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, finishing the week ranked sixth in SG: Putting and 18th in scrambling.
Im’s short game is trending upward. He could be better off-the-tee, which is a big factor at a course like Bellerive.
Based on his consistency down the stretch, logging finishes of T15-T14-T5, I’ll recommend a flier on Im at +7000 in a condensed field this week.
Gary Woodland (+8000)
Gary Woodland started strong with a 66 (-4) in Memphis. Since he’s among the longest drivers on the PGA Tour, ranked seventh in driving distance and seventh in SG: Off-the-Tee, I like how Woodland sets up at Bellerive.
Woodland has a win this year, while also collecting four other top 10 finishes. He’s inside the top 20 in par 4 scoring and 24th in 200+ yard approach shots.
Woodland’s short game needs some refinement, but I’ll trust his power and length to maintain an edge over the field in tee-to-green proficiency. Let’s bet on Gary Woodland as our second longshot sleeper pick in St. Louis at 80-1.
Ryan Fox (+10000)
Let’s plug another bomber with a win in 2026 into our longshot betting card. Ryan Fox won The Open Championship and averages over 313 yards per drive. The New Zealander ranks 47th in putting average and one-putt rate, while sitting 14th in par 4 scoring.
A lot of Fox’s metrics sit outside the top 100. He played poorly at TPC Southwind last week, which is why we’re landing such a big number on a recent major winner.
