It's the reason why we are siding against Team USA in the long run. That said, Spain may find it difficult to contend with the sizable depth advantage Team USA possesses.
Team USA is averaging 90.5 points through four games, and is shooting a respectable 47% from the field and 35% from three-point distance. If you eliminate the horror show against Italy, the numbers are much more favorable. Team USA put up an average of 102.3 points over the three other contests - while scoring at least 91 points in all three games. They have had a chance to rest as they navigate this accelerated schedule. We feel they can finish this contest with 91+ points.
Leg #2: Angel Reese 8+ Points (-245)
Oddsmakers haven't really made any adjustments to this line. So, we are going to the well once again on Angel Reese scoring at least eight points. Reese and Caitlin Clark are the perfect tandem, and until something changes that splits them up in the rotation, there's no reason to stop taking Reese’s points props (within reason). The Team USA forward is averaging 10 points over the last three games, on only five attempts per game.
Leg #3: France Team Total 80+ Points (-120)
Belgium was our early pick to win the tournament. Germany thwarted those aspirations with an absolute beatdown on Wednesday. The reward for such a valiant feat, as 6-point underdogs, was a date with the tournament’s most impressive squad. France has been the standard this tournament. Their efficiency is unmatched, and it seems no matter the rotation, this team is going to thrive on the floor. Germany defended their home court masterfully against Belgium. This may be too tall an order to overcome. For any team, for that matter.
We are going to attack this insanely low number for a French team averaging over 98 points per game. The line is understandable, as Germany has been holding teams to fewer than 80 points throughout the tournament. However, they have not faced competition anywhere near the likes of France. The French team is shooting over 53% from the field on 67.5 attempts per game and 45.7% from deep - 10% higher than any remaining team.
