Sunday’s Best 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup Parlay
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Leg #1: China-Czechia Under 153.5 Points (-220)
China is the most fascinating team in this tournament. Sure, they were unable to overcome Team USA’s talent. However, this is a scrappy team that plays relentless defense and has one of the best forward/center tandems in 6-foot-11 Han Xu and 7-foot-4 Zhang Ziyu.
Most teams are not Team USA, so Czechia is likely to struggle to score in the paint. This leaves them with only one option - they have to shoot efficiently from the outside. Unfortunately for Czechia, they do not.
Czechia scored 54 points in their first contest. The only team on Day 1 that was worse was Hungary (53 points). Czechia shot a woeful 25% from beyond the arc on 20 attempts. Czechia will have to pick up the volume and efficiency from three-point distance tremendously to offset China’s size down low. Neither seems likely.
China plays a hounding defense, and elects to create their offense through set plays that wind down the clock. The two teams combined for 115 points in their first game. We pushed the total up to 153.5 to give us a little added breathing room.
Leg #2: Australia Moneyline (-450)
Australia dominated Puerto Rico on Friday and looks to make it two consecutive tournament wins against Türkiye. Australia was anything but efficient in their first game. However, the team was able to forgo efficiency in favor of sheer volume.
Australia put up 67 shots on Friday - including 32 from beyond the arc. The Australian squad made it a point to punish Puerto Rico on the glass, grabbing 39 defensive rebounds and 13 offensive rebounds.
We mention the volume and rebounding prowess because that's what will set Australia apart in this contest. The Australian team forced 22 turnovers in their first game, including 11 steals.
Türkiye held on up until halftime against Belgium in their first contest. Yet, the wheels seemingly came off as soon as the third quarter began. Türkiye was in the lead by one point at halftime. By the end of the third, they were down 17 points. That kind of collapse is extremely alarming. We will take Australia to start off 2-0.
Leg #3: Puerto Rico +30.5 (-250)
Puerto Rico couldn't keep control of the ball in their first contest on Friday, turning it over on 20 possessions. They shot an abysmal 30% from the field and 27.8% from beyond the arc. Puerto Rico will find it extremely difficult to win if they continue to turn the ball over and shoot poorly.
Belgium is once again far and away superior in terms of talent compared to their opponent. To make matters worse, Belgium's size exceeds the Australian team that Puerto Rico conceded 52 rebounds to. We know this contest could get out of hand quickly, so we pushed the point spread up to over 30 points for this leg to give Puerto Rico some cushion in a horrible matchup for them.
Leg #4: Team USA First-Quarter Moneyline & First Quarter Under 38.5 Points (-104)
We close out this parlay with a straightforward leg offering great odds. Team USA made six three-pointers in the first quarter of its last game. Regardless of the supreme talent on the squad, that's a tough feat to replicate. Team USA made six three-pointers the rest of the game. Had it not been for that insane long-distance barrage of efficiency, the score would have been much lower.
Italy scored 14 points against a Czechia defense nowhere near the likes of Team USA. It will be by a razor-thin margin. Yet we feel the first quarter will fall below 38.5 points. Team USA should be able to have the lead going into the second quarter by at least one point.
Parlay Odds: +388
