2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup Parlay (Wednesday)
The first phase of the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup is over. Only 10 teams will remain after Wednesday’s slate, and the action is sure to pick up as teams dig a little deeper to avoid being knocked out. There are two games on the docket, and given the smaller slate, there is somewhat of a shortage of options to explore. Still, we will be going through what we consider the best plays to combine into a small FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup Parlay for Wednesday

Wednesday’s Best 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup Parlay
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Leg #1: Puerto Rico +18.5 (-475)
China are 10-point favorites going into this contest, and that does track given their elite frontcourt size and smothering defense. Having said that, the double-digit spread seems like an overreaction to China's 20-point win over Italy.
China lost their first contest by 33 points and then followed it up with a four-point win against an extremely inferior Czechia squad. Nothing about that warrants China being favored by so many points.
Despite the inflated line, we are going to add a little insurance, increasing the spread to +18.5. This should give us a bit of cushion in case things get away from Puerto Rico late in the fourth quarter. Covering 19 points is a tall task for China, considering they have not scored more than 74 points in any game.
Leg #2: Puerto Rico First-Half Team Total Over 32.5 Points (-120)
Puerto Rico will have to rely on its speed if it wants to beat a Chinese team that has an overwhelming size advantage. China also enjoys playing at an uptempo pace and pushing the ball up the court.
The aggressive pace should help Puerto Rico score at least 33 points through the first 20 minutes. Puerto Rico has increased their scoring through every game of the tournament, and scored 37 in the half against Türkiye on Monday.
Puerto Rico is going to get up a decent amount of shots. They have put up at least 67 attempts in two out of three games. Puerto Rico doesn't shoot the three-ball at a high rate (25.8%). That means they will have to rely on attacking the basket, picking up fouls and getting to the free-throw line. If Puerto Rico can hit at least four baskets from beyond the arc in the first half, the team should reach 33 first-half points.
Leg #3: Australia MoneyLine (-285)
Australia is down two stars in Alanna Smith and Sami Whitcomb. That hasn't stopped them from playing fantastic team basketball led by Jade Melbourne, Ezi Magbegor and Stephanie Talbot.
Australia won their first two contests, but then fell short to a thriving Belgium team that has already advanced. Italy is coming off a brutal three-point loss to Team USA and a 20-point loss to China. The loss to Team USA seems to have zapped their spirit.
Australia gets the nod on talent and is averaging 75 points per game in the tournament. They should have no problem moving on to the next round.
Leg #4: Australia Team Total Over 72.5 Points (-115)
Based on Italy's run in this tournament, it would be best to take the lower end of the 72.5 total. Yet, as previously stated, Italy seems to have already checked out mentally after coming so close to becoming the first team to beat Team USA in over 30 games. Australia is shooting over 48% from the field over three games, while averaging 63.3 attempts per game.
Australia would more than likely fly over this number with Alanna Smith and Sami Whitcomb in the lineup. Still, the Australian team is averaging 75 points per game and should reach 73 points.
