The online sportsbooks offer a seemingly endless number of ways to bet on The Masters. Head-to-head bets give you a chance to target players and matchups you like. You can bet on matchups for a single round or for the entire tournament. Here is a head-to-head (H2H) tournament matchup at DraftKings that I'm wagering with my 2026 Masters picks involving Xander Schauffele vs. Matt Fitzpatrick.

2026 Masters Picks: Best H2H Bets (Xander Schauffele vs. Matt Fitzpatrick)

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Xander Schauffele (-136) Over Matt Fitzpatrick (+104)

I'm betting on Xander Schauffele to win outright, and I'm betting him in this matchup.

Schauffele finished second at The Masters in 2019 and third in 2021. He's finished inside the top 10 in each of the last three years. In strokes gained tee to green at Augusta National since 2015, only Scottie Scheffler ranks ahead of Schauffele.

Schauffele’s fine all-around game is made for Augusta. His putter went cold on him last year, but Schauffele ranks 36th in strokes gained putting in 2026. His iron play is terrific. He does superb work around the greens. Schauffele also hits it a long way, which is always an advantage at Augusta.

And Schauffele is coming in hot. In his last two tournaments, he finished third at The PLAYERS Championship and fourth at the Valspar Championship.

Matt Fitzpatrick is a tough competitor who's having a fine year. He had a second-place finish at The PLAYERS Championship and a victory the following week at the Valspar Championship.

But Fitzpatrick hasn't had much luck at Augusta. In 11 career Masters starts, he's never finished in the top five, and he's only had two top-10 results.

While Fitzpatrick has worked to add distance off the tee, he ranks a modest 69th in driving distance. And he has not been great with the flatstick this year, ranking 96th in strokes gained putting.

Schauffele should probably be an even heavier favorite in this matchup. Back him at -136 odds.
