2026 Masters Picks & Predictions: Best Round 4 Bets
Masters Sunday 2026 promises to be a wild ride.
After two rounds, Rory McIlroy seemed to be in the driver's seat with a six-shot lead, but the defending champ graciously opened the door for other contenders with hiccup-filled round of 73 on Saturday.
McIlroy heads into the final round tied with Cam Young, who shot a splendid 65 on Saturday (and also got a couple of fortuitous bounces). Not surprisingly. McIlroy is still favored to win (+148 as of 7:15 p.m. ET Saturday night).
Here are my best bets for the final round of The Masters.
2026 Masters Picks & Predictions: Round 4 Bets
Scottie Scheffler to win (+910)
After two frustrating rounds, Scheffler went nuclear on Saturday making five birdies and an eagle en route to a 65. The frightening thing is that Scheffler left meat on the bone; he easily could have shot 63.
Scheffler enters the final round four shots off the lead. The traditional Sunday pin positions are going to demand precise shotmaking. Scottie showed on Saturday that he can provide it.
At odds of just over 9-1, we're getting the right price to bet on Scheffler turning in another heroic round on Sunday to win his third Green Jacket in five years.
Patrick Reed to finish top five, including ties (+325)
Saturday began gloriously for Reed, who birdied his first three holes to get to -9. But Reed bogeyed Nos. 4 and 5 and finished the day back where he started at -6. He heads into the final round two shots out of the top five.
Reed won The Masters in 2018 and has posted four top-10 finishes in the last six years. He has an elite short game, and it serves him well on a course that demands exceptional chipping and putting.
My theory is that with so many players shooting scores in the 60s on Saturday, the decision makers at Augusta will want tougher scoring conditions for the final rounds. Expect Augusta’s greens to be like marble. That could play into the hands of an elite scrambler like Reed, who can grind out pars while other players atop the leaderboard are making bogies.
Jordan Spieth to finish top 20, including ties (+210)
Spieth is -1 going into the final round. There's a six-way tie for 15th at -4, so Spieth is three shots out of the top 20.
Although Spieth isn't the same player he was when he won The Masters in 2015 and nearly went back-to-back in 2016, he still feels very comfortable at Augusta National. Experience matters at this place, and Spieth has played on Masters Sunday 10 times. He'll be intimately familiar with the pin positions and will know when to play it safe and when to attack.
