2026 Masters Picks & Predictions: Brooks Koepka
The best golfers in the world will be in Augusta, Georgia, this week for the first major of the year, The Masters. We’re going to share our top 2026 Masters picks and predictions.
Augusta National Golf Club is simultaneously a feast for the eyes and a stern test of golfing acumen. The Georgia pines and blooming azaleas highlight Augusta's beauty, but this world-renowned course demands precise ballstriking and short-game excellence.
Rory McIlroy had an epic victory at last year's Masters to earn his first Green Jacket. Can he successfully defend his title, or will the No. 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, win at Augusta for the third time in five years? PGA Tour stars Ludvig Aberg and Xander Schauffele are looking for a career-altering victory, and big-hitting LIV Tour stalwarts Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau will be in the hunt.
Welcome to the fifth annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We'll take a deep dive into the field, taking a closer look at the players contending for the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Read on.

Stats to Know
- Odds to Win: +3800
- World Ranking: 165
- Best Masters finish: 2 (2019, 2023)
- Last four Masters finishes: MC, 2, 45, MC
- Last four tournament finishes: 9, 13, 18, MC
Course History
Koepka finished in a three-way tie for second in 2019, just one shot behind Tiger Woods. No doubt Koepka is haunted by the double bogey he made at the par-3 12th in his final round thsat year. Koepka also finished runner-up in 2023, four shots behind Jon Rahm. But Koepka has missed the cut in three of his last five Masters appearances.
Recent Form
Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour after his LIV Tour odyssey got off to a slow start with a missed cut and a 56th-place finish in two events on the West Coast swing. But Koepka typically doesn’t play his best golf on the West Coast. The Florida swing was kinder to him, with a ninth-place finish at the Cognizant Classic, a 13th at the Players Championship, and an 18th at the Valspar Championship. He missed the cut in his most recent event, the Houston Open. Koepka’s iron play has been on point, as he ranks third in strokes gained on approach. But Koepka’s short game has been a mess. He ranks outside the top 125 in strokes gained putting, scrambling, and sand saves.

2026 Masters Outlook & Predictions
It’s hard to discount Koepka, who so often elevates his game for the majors. He’s won three PGA Championships and two U.S. Opens, and he’s been in the hunt in multiple Open Championships. His Masters track record isn’t quite as strong, but it’s not bad. Although we haven’t seen Koepka’s A-game in 2026, it wouldn’t be shocking if he caught fire at Augusta. The biggest concern is his putting slump. Augusta National is not the best place to rediscover ones putting stroke.
Betting Outlook: 2026 Masters Picks
Don’t take any half-measures with Koepka. If you’re going to bet him, bet him to win. Forget about top-five or top-10 bets. Go big or go home. I don’t fancy his chances in light of his 2026 form, but Koepka is such a fierce competitor that I don’t hate the idea of betting him to win outright.
