2026 Masters Picks & Predictions: Cameron Young

The best golfers in the world will be in Augusta, Georgia, this week for the first major of the year, The Masters. We’re going to share our top 2026 Masters picks and predictions.

Augusta National Golf Club is simultaneously a feast for the eyes and a stern test of golfing acumen. The Georgia pines and blooming azaleas highlight Augusta's beauty, but this world-renowned course demands precise ballstriking and short-game excellence.

Rory McIlroy had an epic victory at last year's Masters to earn his first Green Jacket. Can he successfully defend his title, or will the No. 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, win at Augusta for the third time in five years? PGA Tour stars Ludvig Aberg and Xander Schauffele are looking for a career-altering victory, and big-hitting LIV Tour stalwarts Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau will be in the hunt.

Welcome to the fifth annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We'll take a deep dive into the field, taking a closer look at the players contending for the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Read on.

Course History

The 28-year-old Young has finished inside the top 10 at The Masters in two of the last three years, although he missed the cut in 2025. Young has finished under par in only three of his 12 career rounds at Augusta National. But Young’s career has really taken off since last June, and it’s encouraging that he’s had some early success at Augusta despite the course’s steep learning curve.

Recent Form

Young has been off since his triumphant victory at the Players Championship last month. That win followed a seventh-place finish at the Genesis Invitational and a third-place finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Young ranks eighth on tour in strokes gained total, third in strokes gained off the tee, 26th in strokes gained on approach, 19th in scrambling, and 42nd in strokes gained putting.

2026 Masters Outlook & Predictions

A quiet assassin, Young has been playing superb golf over the last 10 months and is establishing himself as a star. A breakthrough at The Masters would further validate his budding stardom, and his current form suggests he’s capable of making a serious run at a Green Jacket.

Betting Outlook: 2026 Masters Picks

I wish we were getting better odds on Young, but considering how well he’s been playing, it’s easy to understand why he’s among the favorites. Fading a player as hot as Young is no fun, but his Masters track record doesn’t warrant an investment at such short odds.
