2026 Masters Picks & Predictions: Ludvig Aberg
The best golfers in the world will be in Augusta, Georgia, this week for the first major of the year, The Masters. We’re going to share our top 2026 Masters picks and predictions.
Augusta National Golf Club is simultaneously a feast for the eyes and a stern test of golfing acumen. The Georgia pines and blooming azaleas highlight Augusta's beauty, but this world-renowned course demands precise ballstriking and short-game excellence.
Rory McIlroy had an epic victory at last year's Masters to earn his first Green Jacket. Can he successfully defend his title, or will the No. 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, win at Augusta for the third time in five years? PGA Tour stars Ludvig Aberg and Xander Schauffele are looking for a career-altering victory, and big-hitting LIV Tour stalwarts Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau will be in the hunt.
Welcome to the fifth annual BettingPros Guide to The Masters. We'll take a deep dive into the field, taking a closer look at the players contending for the coveted Green Jacket. Which players provide betting value and which are bad bets? Read on.
2026 Masters Picks & Predictions: Ludvig Aberg
Stats to Know
- Odds to Win: +1750
- World Ranking: 18
- Best Masters finish: 2 (2024)
- Last two Masters finishes: 2, 7
- Last four tournament finishes: 20, 3, 5, 5
Course History
Aberg made his first Masters appearance in 2024 and finished solo second, four shots behind winner Scottie Scheffler. Aberg tied for the lead on Sunday after rolling in a long birdie putt on No. 9, but he was tripped up by a double bogey on No. 11, just as Scheffler was catching fire. Last year, Aberg finished -6 to place seventh. In his eight rounds at The Masters, Aberg has a scoring average of 70.38, and his worst score in any of those rounds was a 73.
Recent Form
The 26-year-old Swede may be getting hot at the right time. After an indifferent start to his year, Aberg finished third at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, fifth at the Players Championship, and fifth at last week’s Valero Texas Open. Aberg has scored in the 60s in seven of his last 12 rounds. His ballstriking has been solid. Aberg ranks 28th in strokes gained off the tee and 24th in strokes gained on approach.

2026 Masters Outlook & Predictions
Aberg seems to like Augusta National, and his easygoing demeanor seemingly makes him immune to the pressure of being in contention at The Masters. The young star has also rattled off three straight top-five finishes. It’s no surprise that Aberg is being regarded as one of the top contenders for the Green Jacket.
Betting Outlook: 2026 Masters Picks
Odds of +1750 to win seem just a little too short, but I like the idea of betting Aberg for a top five at +325.
