2026 Memorial Tournament Picks & Predictions: Best PGA Bets
The next Signature Event on the PGA Tour calendar is set to tee off this week at the 50th edition of the Memorial Tournament. Hosted at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, the par-72 course runs close to 7,600 yards, with no modifications to Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead’s iconic venue.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler continues to be in the mix when he’s in a field. However, since a dominant debut at The American Express, Scheffler has not returned to the winner’s podium. He’ll look to post a three-peat victory at Muirfield this weekend as a +350 betting favorite.
The course features creeping Bentgrass fairways and greens, with 4.5-inch Kentucky Bluegrass that punishes errant tee and approach shots. Greens measure roughly 5,000 square feet, while putting velocity gets up to 13 feet. It’s certainly not a birdie-fest, coming off an average score of 73.3 in 2025.
Other notable betting favorites behind Scheffler include Rory McIlroy (+1200), Ludvig Åberg (+1500), Cameron Young (+1800), Xander Schauffele (+1800), and newly-minted Charles Schwab Challenge champion, Russell Henley, at +2000 odds.
My 2026 Charles Schwab Challenge Picks & Predictions: Best PGA Bets went 1-2. J.J. Spaun cashed a Top 20 ticket at +125 odds with his T6 finish, while Sungjae Im and Rickie Fowler both failed to make the cut for our other Top 10 and Top 20 plays.

Top 5 Finishing Position
It’s worth laying the juice on Scottie Scheffler in his quest for a three-peat at the Memorial Tournament. Scheffler has four top five finishes in his last five starts on the PGA Tour.
He’s ranked first in total strokes gained, including third SG: Off-the-Tee, while also pacing the PGA Tour in total driving, greens in regulation rate, putting average, par 4 scoring and overall scoring average.
Pick: Scottie Scheffler (-165)
Top 10 Finishing Position
Si Woo Kim has had a strong 2026 campaign, despite failing to close out a win at his home course during a solo runner-up at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. Kim has seven top 10 finishes this year, including two top 10s in 2021 and 2023.
The South Korean ranks top-20 in SG: Off-the-Tee, SG: Approach, and second in driving accuracy. 15th in putting average boosts Kim’s appeal in the Top 10 betting market even more ahead of his 11th start at Muirfield Village.
Pick: Si Woo Kim (+155)
Top 20 Finishing Position
Few PGA Tour golfers have been more consistent in the last two months than Alex Smalley. He’s cashed a Top 20 ticket in six straight events, and now, he’ll look to finally make the cut at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
Notable metrics for Smalley heading into Muirfield include ranking 11th in total strokes gained. He’s 17th in SG: Approach, 30th in SG: Putting, sixth at finding greens in regulation, and 10th at 200+ yard approach shots.
Smalley is also top-10 in scoring average and par 4 scoring, while making over 4.1 birdies per round in 2026. It’s more than enough to crack his first top 20 finish at Jack’s Place.
Pick: Alex Smalley (+105)
