2026 RBC Heritage Picks & Predictions: PGA Longshots
The PGA Tour rolls into its next Signature Event of the season at the 2026 RBC Heritage. Played on a par 71 at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Scottie Scheffler leads the outright betting market as a short +440 favorite.
Other notable names in this condensed field, which does not enforce a cut line, include 2023 winner Matt Fitzpatrick (+1500), Xander Schauffele (+1500), Russell Henley (+1600), and Cameron Young at +1600 odds. However, in this betting preview, we’re going to look at some of the names in the +6000 range to try to find our third longshot winner in 2026.
My 2026 Masters Picks & Predictions: PGA Longshots never had any realistic chance of hitting during Rory McIlroy’s historic title defense at Augusta National. Dustin Johnson (260-1) played the best between Jacob Bridgeman and Marco Penge, carding a T33 finish at even par.
Let’s lock in three longshot golfers at the 2026 RBC Heritage before Round 1 tees off on Thursday morning. Follow me on X at Matt_MacKay_ for more free picks and analysis throughout the 2026 PGA Tour season.

Akshay Bhatia (+6000)
I cannot quit betting on Akshay Bhatia. Maybe it’s because he cashed our 70-1 outright at the Arnold Palmer Invitational a few weeks ago. Bias aside, Bhatia profiles well at Harbour Town.
In 2026, the 24-year-old ranks sixth in total strokes gained, eighth in SG: Approach, and ninth in SG: Putting. Bhatia’s best finish at this event was a T18 in 2024.
Bhatia missed the cut at the Masters. Now, he’ll get a chance to redeem himself at Harbour Town, which has way fewer undulations and caters to his tee-to-green efficiency.
Let’s place a 0.25 unit wager on Bhatia in the outright winner betting market at +6000 odds to secure his fourth PGA Tour victory.
Brian Harman (+6500)
Brian Harman is quietly trending up into one of his favorite events on the PGA Tour. The Georgia native has logged T7-T12-T3 in his past three trips to Harbour Town, so expect Harman to be in the mix atop the leaderboard on Sunday.
Harman has a pair of top 20 finishes in 2026, while coming off a T33 finish at the Masters on Sunday. Notable metrics include 32nd in driving accuracy, 42nd in proximity, and top-50 in one-putt percentage.
Harman is worth targeting in other top finishing markets as well. However, at 65-1, based on his consistent production at Harbour Town, let’s bet on the 39-year-old to make a run and record his fifth career PGA Tour victory in Hilton Head Island on Sunday.
Wyndham Clark (+10000)
At 100-1, Wyndham Clark is a huge value as a longshot golfer at the RBC Heritage this week. Clark has gone T29-T3-T27 in his past three trips to Hilton Head Island.
We just saw the Denver native card a T21 finish at the Masters. That followed back-to-back missed cuts, so it looks like Clark may be heading in the right direction to contend at this upcoming Signature Event.
Ranks 21st in SG: Approach, which is huge at a tight course with small greens like Harbour Town. Clark is also 25th in total driving, 52nd in proximity, and 29th in birdie average.
Let’s finish our RBC Heritage longshot betting card with Wyndham Clark at 100-1 in the outright winner market.
