We have officially hit the All-Star break, where the stars align in Chicago. Team Weatherspoon takes on Team Cooper in what should be an action packed matchup. Team Spoon sit as 3.5-point favorites with the total around 276.5 points. You may think it's a bit of a crapshoot betting on the All-Star game, but if you dive deep a bit you can find plenty of value which is exactly what I'm here for. We had a perfect outing last time and I plan on doing that again here tonight. Let's get to it.

Team Coop Moneyline (+145 at BetMGM)
Starting off with a plus-money bet, it's easy to throw a unit onto the underdog here. Yes, Team Spoon may have Caitlin Clark and A'ja Wilson, but Team Coop is just as deep with elite guard play and capable scorers. Size favors the favorites here, but with a lack of defense quite common in All-Star games, the run-and-gun style that is so common to see gives a nod to Team Coop. Of course there is the question of Paige Bueckers’ health, but you can make a similar argument for Caitlin Clark. I know she's fully healthy again and looking like her MVP self, but there's no chance she risks re-injuring herself by playing a full game here.
You can get spicy with a 1H Spoon Moneyline-Full Game Coop Moneyline if you want once we see everyone get action. However, I'm keeping it simple with the value on what feels more like a coin flip type of game.
A'ja Wilson Over 19.5 Points (-117 at DraftKings)
Now this may seem counterintuitive, but despite my affinity for Team Coop, I still think Wilson can eat on the glass and in the paint. As I mentioned, the frontcourt definitely favors Team Spoon in this matchup. While Wilson won't experience the higher usage she's used to, I do expect some insane efficiency that we don't commonly see. With the number of easy looks near the rim and potential second-chance opportunities, it's hard not to like her number of getting to 20 points. Even more so, as it's dropped a bit here recently. Wilson does own the WNBA record for consecutive 20-point games (20) for what it’s worth.
