We’ve got a lot of live sporting action this weekend. The English Premier League (EPL) has finally returned, and the Belmont Stakes will run without fans. This is shaping up to be a great weekend for sports — and for sports bettors.

Here are six of this weekend’s best live events.

1. English Premier League

Where: 888sport, FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, FOX Bet, William Hill.
When:  Games run all weekend long.

The English Premier League (EPL) returned to action on Wednesday, and we’ve already seen a player get handed a red card. That’s right, Arsenal substitute David Luiz earned one in the team’s 3-0 loss to Manchester City. Not a good look, mate.

Friday’s match between Tottenham (+195) and Manchester United (+138) gives us an interesting and profitable line. Before the shutdown, the two clubs ranked eighth and fifth, respectively, but those are a little misleading. Manchester United is on an 11-game winning streak, while Tottenham has lost their last six.

With Manchester United in the plus-money to win, I’m comfortable betting that both clubs’ form before the shutdown still matters. Also, United’s defense has held opponents to just 30 goals, 10 fewer than Tottenham’s, which should give them an edge even if their momentum has stalled. Punch this bet in at DraftKings before the game gets underway on Friday afternoon.

2. The Belmont Stakes

Where: NYRA Bets, TVG, TwinSpires, Xpressbet, and FanDuel’s Horse Racing App.
When: Saturday, 5:42 PM EST (NBC)

The 152nd Belmont Stakes run on Saturday under unusual circumstances. What’s usually the final Triple Crown race to run, Belmont comes first this year. And instead of its traditional 1.5-mile length, horses will only run 1.125 miles.

Tiz the Law (+120) is the betting favorite for the event. The three-year-old won here back in October, and he enters the event after having won both the Holy Bull Stakes and the Florida Derby. Sole Vilante (+450) has the second-best odds, and the horse most recently saw action 10 days ago with a win at Gulfstream Park.

If you’re looking for more betting advice for horse racing, you can check out our guide to it here. While I’d usually pump the brakes on such short odds, there’s a strong argument for taking Tiz the Law here, as the horse has won here before and at a similar distance.

3. PGA RBC Heritage

Where: 888sport, FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, FOX Bet, William Hill.
When:  The tournament runs all weekend long (CBS).

Daniel Berger won last weekend’s Charles Schwab Challenge impressively. Forced to a playoff, he bested Collin Morikawa to score his third-career PGA Tour victory.

This weekend, the golfers will play the RBC Heritage at the Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina. The course features small, Bermuda greens and thin, tree-lined fairways, so golfers’ accuracy will be crucial.

Enter Webb Simpson (+650). He’s the ninth-best golfer in the world right now, and he’s coming off a missed cut at Colonial. He needs to put his best foot forward this weekend, and he’s gotten off to a strong start at T3 (-9) so far. Yes, he’s the betting favorite, but he’s a strong outright play on BetMGM.

4. UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Volkov

Where: 888sport, FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, FOX Bet, William Hill.
When:  Saturday, 8:00 PM (ESPN+).

We’ve got UFC action live from Las Vegas again on Saturday. This time, a heavyweight bout between third-ranked Curtis Blaydes (-400) and seventh-ranked Alexander Volkov (+320) headlines the event. It looks like an easy win for Blaydes, so we’ll have to find betting value away from the moneyline.

I’m expecting Blaydes to knock out Volkov in this one. The major sportsbooks are too, and you won’t find this line in the plus-money anywhere. Why? Well, 10 of Blaydes’ 13 career wins have been knockouts, and Volkov’s most recent UFC loss was also a knockout.

At FOX Bet, you can get Blaydes to win by KO, TKO, or DSQ at -133. The sportsbook has boosted their odds from -162, and that’s a line worth playing if you want to lay some action on the UFC headliner.

5. Korean Baseball

Where: 888sport, FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, FOX Bet, William Hill.
When:  Games run all weekend long.

After getting off to a hot start, the NC Dinos have fallen back down to earth. Their runs allowed, once the league’s fewest, now ranks third overall. The LG Twins have risen to the Dinos’ challenge, and they’re now just 1.5 games out of first place.

That said, the Dinos have a chance to rebound this weekend. They play the league-worst Hanwha Eagles, a team that’s scored almost 100 fewer runs than the Dinos. The Eagles have the league-worst batting average (.235) and ERA (6.13), so it’s no surprise to see the Dinos as heavy moneyline favorites at -650.

At FanDuel, the runline for this series is set at 4.5. Experienced baseball bettors will recognize this as a massive departure from the norm of 1.5, so betting against the sportsbook could be a smart play here. If you took the Eagles with this runline in both of their last two series, you’d be 5-1. Yes, the Dinos present an added challenge, but I’m comfortable playing the Eagles with the increased runline.

6. NASCAR Racing at Talladega

Where: FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, FOX Bet, William Hill.
When:  Games run all weekend long.

It’s Talladega! NASCAR hits the high banks of the infamous Alabama race track this weekend in what’s sure to be a great race. Superspeedway tracks like Daytona and Talladega force drivers to work together through the draft, and two men stand out from the crowd for this weekend’s race.

Team Penske has had tons of speed in 2020, so it’s safe to bet on either Brad Keselowski (+850) or Joey Logano (+900). I’d err toward Keselowski. He has five wins at this track in 22 attempts, and he’ll be looking for redemption after wrecking out of the Daytona 500 after leading the second-most laps.

Logano is always a good bet for Superspeedway tracks. He was my pick to win the Daytona 500, and his three Talladega wins are second only to Keselowski. If you’re not looking to place an outright bet, Logano had a streak of four consecutive top-5s before an 11th-place finish in last year’s playoffs. You can get him to finish top-5 at +190 through DraftKings.
