Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns Odds & Game Pick
The Baltimore Ravens will be traveling to Cleveland looking to avenge their Week 4 loss, one of only two on the season, against the Browns. The Browns are much worse for wear in Week 16 with Myles Garrett suspended indefinitely and superstar receiver Odell Beckham Jr. playing with a sports hernia. The Ravens, on the other hand, have won 10 straight games since that contest, and have just broken the NFL record for the most Pro Bowl starters. A Ravens victory seems all but assured, but a win against the spread may be a different story. Let's dig in.

Overview
The Cleveland Browns have been the biggest disappointment in the NFL this season. A trendy offseason Super Bowl prop play after their star-studded acquisitions, the Browns have slow-crawled to a 6-8 record. Head coach Freddie Kitchens deserves to be fired, but the front office refusing to admit their mistake, has thrown their support behind the clearly out his depth rookie head coach. The Browns are eliminated from playoff contention, but it is likely many on the field, aside from Greedy Williams and Mack Wilson, will be playing for their futures on the 2020 version of this roster. There are going to be some changes this offseason, and they may start with losing Joe Schobert, Greg Robinson, and Kareem Hunt to free agency. With absolutely no one expecting them to beat Baltimore, the Browns should now count themselves as lucky if they finish with a 7-9 record.
The 12-2 Baltimore Ravens are firing on all cylinders. Their defense is beginning to look as stout as their offense is explosive, and with a win over the Browns they can clinch the number one seed and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. MVP favorite Lamar Jackson has been a marvel to watch and currently leads the NFL with 33 passing touchdowns and is eighth in the league with 1,103 rushing yards. This could be the last time we see Lamar in the regular season, as the Ravens are expected to rest a select group of starters in Week 17 if they defeat the Browns as projected. If this is the final tune-up before the playoffs, we should expect some fireworks on both sides of the ball from the Ravens. With the way NFL free agency and salary caps work, fans and bettors alike should take in as much of this Ravens team as possible.

Prop Bets
Baltimore Ravens team total over 29 points (-110)
The Ravens’ team total is the number one prop for this contest. Baltimore has scored 33.7 points per game on the season, but that number soars to 37.3 in their road contests. Cleveland surprisingly got the better of the Ravens in Week 4, but with Myles Garrett suspended, Olivier Vernon still dealing with his knee issue, Sheldon Richardson missing practice with a back injury, and Odell Beckham Jr. clearly limited, the Browns should receive the true Ravens’ treatment this weekend. Cleveland is going to have a tough time stopping the Ravens without aid from the elements. Baltimore scored 25 points in their loss to Cleveland earlier this season and will easily be able to pass that total in Week 16. This is the safest play for this entire contest. Lock this one in as potentially the last easy Ravens team total cover of the season.
Bottom Line
The Baltimore Ravens lost to the Cleveland Browns in Week 4 but have won each of their 10 contests since. Baltimore is 7-1 ATS in their last eight contests overall and look to be staring at an easy cover. Cleveland has been one of the worst teams in the league this season and simply do not have the personnel to slow the Ravens’ ground game down. The over presents some value here, but relying on Cleveland to hit their implied team total does not seem wise. As such, we have tabbed the Ravens’ team total over discussed above as our top prop not only for this game but for Week 16 as a whole. With the Ravens being our pick for the full game spread, we proceed to our live odds page to do some line shopping. A quick glance shows us that the Ravens are shockingly still being offered at -9.5 at BetMGM. Lock this one in immediately before BetMGM follows suit and moves the line to -10.
