As the big boys of European professional shadow begin to emerge from the pandemic that has quarantined the world at large for the past three months, the “Boys from Belarus” are continuing business as usual. Now entering their 14th week of regular season play, the Belarus Premier League (Vysshaya Liga) hasn’t missed a single game and has turned in a surprisingly strong product.

While much of the eyeballs (and dollars) will surely turn to the more popular leagues such as the English Premier League and La Liga in the weeks to come, the lines should soften in what has been a very profitable Vysshaya Liga season for us thus far.

Let’s take a look at a Saturday afternoon matchup I have my eye on this weekend.

Dinamo Minsk (-162) vs. Energetik BGU (+350): Saturday, 1:00 PM EST

(Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook)

As one of the elites of Belarusian soccer, Dinamo Minsk is looking to overcome a rocky stretch to start the season as they now sit 7th in the table and just three points outside of postseason play. The last time we saw them on the pitch was a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Slavia Mozyr, a win that drew them even with Isloch in the table at 19 points.

For Energetik BGU, the word inconsistent would be an understatement of pandemic proportions. Currently sitting with 22 points and tied for third in the table, the entire season has been an up and down roller coaster that they just can’t seem to keep steady.

With quality wins over the past month against the likes of Dynamo Brest and Isloch, last week Energetik gave league bottom dweller Belshina Bobruisk their first win of the season. In what was a 0-1 home loss, Energetik will look to bounce back in this one as the halfway point of the season is just a week away.

In this match, I like the up and down Energetik to bounce back, but for Minsk to play well enough to keep it within range. I’ll take the draw in what should be a very close contest.

Prediction: Draw (+275)
