With professional soccer across the rest of Europe slowly creeping back to action, the Belarusian Premier League may only have a short time left in the spotlight. However, it will forever be the league that never missed a single game or practice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and for that, our pockets are grateful.
Thereâs plenty of time left for teams to jockey into position for this seasonâs playoffs, as there are still more than 20 games left on each of their schedules. That doesnât mean every game isnât increasingly important, though.
Letâs take a look at two teams trending in similar directions scheduled to kick off early Sunday morning.

FC Isloch (-165) vs. FC Belshina Bobruisk (+425), 7:00 AM EST (via DraftKings Sportsbook)
After its formation in 2007, FC Isloch reached the premier league in 2015, and they havenât looked back since. They achieved a franchise-best fifth-place finish last season! While this season has been a bag of mixed results for them so far, as they currently sit at 4-0-3 after dropping three of their last five matches.
The last time we saw them on the pitch, Isloch got lit up 4-0 by the surging Shakhter, who played with an energy weâve seen sparingly so far in this league. Trailing just 0-1 at the half, Isloch didnât play terribly, but they couldnât hit the broad side of a barn with seven of their 11 shots missing the target completely.
For FC Belshina Bobruisk, their first season back in the premier league has been a terrible one thus far. Currently sitting at 0-2-5, Belshina has just five goals on the season and has consistently put on some of the worst performances in the league.
Last weekâs match against Dinamo Minsk resulted in a 0-3 defeat, one of their worst on the season.
While weâve been riding under in this league for the first part of the season, I do think teams are starting to find their form, for better or worse, and we see that start to shift. Over these two teamsâ last four games, the total has landed on an average of 3.5 goals.
I think we see a similar result in this one.
