FC Slutsk (-143) vs. FC Belshina Bobruisk (+360), 7:00 AM EST (via DraftKings Sportsbook)
Averaging 1.8 goals per match, FC Slutsk has been one of the most exciting teams to watch this season. Aside from their club, it’s been a low-scoring campaign for the league. Through five games, Slutsk sits at the top of the table with the best goal differential (+3) in the land.
Their last time out, Slutsk defended their home turf thanks to a 45′ goal from left winger Umar Bala Mohammed. Taking a 2-0 lead into the half, Slutsk held off an aggressive Skahkter Soligorsk, ultimately winning 2-1.
Sitting with two points thanks to draws in the last two weeks, Belshina sits alone at the bottom of the table. Earning promotion just this season, Belshina is now in jeopardy of relegation.
The last time we saw them on the pitch, Belshina came within a minute of securing their first win of the season. Unfortunately, a foul in the 90′ gave their opponent a penalty kick that they slotted home to force the draw.
Slutsk has been the most dominant team of this young season, and I see no reason for that not to continue. The club returns home, and I expect them to score a statement win after seeing mixed results in their home stadium this season.
