Belarus Premier League (Vysshaya Liga): Neman Grodno vs. Shakhter Soligorsk Odds & Game Pick (2020)
The top-level leagues throughout Europe are finishing up their 2020 regular seasons just weeks after re-starting them. Meanwhile, a league in Eastern Europe has been playing through the entire pandemic.
The Belarusian Premier League (BPL), one of the top leagues on the eastern half of the continent, started on time in March. It has yet to miss a single game or practice. We’ve been following and cashing tickets along the way, and that’s something we’ll continue to do through season’s end.
Let’s take a look at a late Sunday morning matchup that I have my eye on.

Neman Grodno (+270) vs. Shakhtyor Soligorsk (-110): Sunday, 11:45 AM EST
For those of us who have been watching the BPL for over four months now, this game has been bookmarked for weeks.
On the home side of this matchup, Neman Grodno comes into this one sitting in third place, just three points shy of claiming their first-ever league title. The last time we saw them, they played to a 0-0 draw. That was the first match they failed to win since early May.
Luckily for Neman, their key to getting there is sitting right in front of them. It’s a Shakhtyor team that has stormed through the back half of the season as they look for their first league title since 2005.
As winners of their last two by a combined +6 goal differential, Shakhtyor is next to BATE as one of the strongest clubs in the BPL this season. But that’s when they get rolling.
In this one, it’s hard to look away from a team as hot as Neman has been. While Shakhtyor will almost certainly claim the league title, I see a tough match in store for them here where a draw would be the most likely outcome in my mind.
