Best College Football Bets for December 30th (2021)
With Christmas now in the rearview, it’s full steam ahead in college football season as there are double-digit games between now and the College Football Playoff getting started on New Year’s Eve. While COVID protocols continue to run rampant with nearly every program, there’s plenty of value to be found for those who dig deep enough.

Oh, what could’ve been in the 2021 Peach Bowl.
When matchmakers made this game, there was always the risk that the team’s two offensive stars, and likely top NFL Draft Pickets in Kenny Pickett (Pitt) and Kenneth Walker III (Michigan State), would opt-out, and that’s exactly what happened.
With the news, the line flipped from Pitt being a 3.5-point favorite to where it sits now, with Michigan State being just under a field goal favorite (-2.5). The loss will be felt for the Spartans, but their quarterback Payton Thorne is more than capable of picking up the slack.
For the Panthers, the loss of Pickett will be a tremendous blow, as his replacement, Nick Patti, has just 14 collegiate passes to his name. While I expect motivated performances from both sides given their strong coaching staff, I expect the Spartans to pull away in this one late.
Wisconsin -6 | -105 at DK Sportsbook
This is one of the more confusing lines on the entire slate, as I don’t see how ASU keeps this one inside of a touchdown. Making the short trip out to Las Vegas, the Sun Devils come into this one with one of the worst offenses in the PAC-12 and will now be without their top player in running back Rachaad White.
For the Badgers, a slow start was capped off by them winning seven of their last eight and turning into the nasties defense in the country in the process. To end the season, the Badgers finished #1 in total and rushing yards allowing, allowing just 241.4 and 65.8 per game, respectively.
I expect this one to be a lopsided affair as the Badgers roll, sending the Sun Devils to an offseason filled with unknowns.
