Cardinals vs. Cowboys Preview & Picks

On the early lookahead lines show I liked the under. And with the total up to 54.5, you’d think it would be a slam-dunk for me. At the time, it felt too high for a Cardinals-Cowboys game: that number suggests a lot of confidence that both of these teams will be competent on both sides of the ball, and I am not sure you can count on that.

But after looking more at the trends, I think you just take Arizona with the points in a high-scoring affair. Michael Wilson and Jeremiyah Love are expected to play (although the Cardinals’ OL is in shambles).

Dallas is the home favorite coming off a short week, but Arizona has covered every game it has played as a road underdog this season. They are always live for back-door cover (7-4 ATS since 2025 as a road underdog).

Still nowhere near a best bet.

Best NFL Same Game Parlay for Cardinals vs. Cowboys

Here is our top NFL same game parlay for Cardinals vs. Cowboys. And you can view all of our Week 8 NFL same game parlays.

            • Leg 1: Dak Prescott Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns (+119)
            • Leg 2: CeeDee Lamb 80+ Receiving Yards (-134)
            • Leg 3: Michael Wilson 50+ Receiving Yards (-163)

Arizona has allowed 17 passing touchdowns this season, a league-high mark. Dallas should look to target the Cardinals through the air, especially in the red zone. It could be a big game for Dak Prescott, who just threw for three TDs against the Eagles last week. He only has 13 passing scores over seven games this year, but an outburst at home could be coming in this matchup.

The Cardinals' defense also allows the 11th-most receiving yards per game to opposing wide receivers. Look for CeeDee Lamb to produce as he and Prescott connect early and often. Lamb has seen double-digit targets in three of the last four games. His 74 and 70 yards in the last two weeks easily could've been much higher. He's bound to break out for another 100+ yards, but let's just hope for 80+ this week.

On the Arizona side, Michael Wilson gets a favorable matchup as well. Dallas is allowing the ninth-most receiving yards per game to WRs this year. The defense has been susceptible through the air all season, and the Cardinals have the passing attack to exploit those issues.

As for Wilson, his production has decreased a bit lately. The Arizona wideout has 55, 32, and 30 yards in the last three games. Before that, though, he went for 95 and 89 yards with double-digit targets in both outings. This matchup points to Wilson eclipsing 50+ yards, something he's done in four games so far.

What is an NFL player prop bet?

An NFL player prop bet is a type of wager where you’re betting on the performance of a specific player in a game rather than the overall outcome. For example, you might place a bet on how many passing yards a quarterback will throw for, or how many touchdowns a running back will score. It’s a fun way to get more invested in the action, especially if you’re confident in how a particular player will perform, regardless of who wins or loses the game. It’s like focusing on one slice of the pie instead of the whole thing.
