Best Prop Bets Today
Beyond pinpointing our best prop bets today by star rating, we can take it a step further by identifying five-star props with a 100% hit rate over the player's last five games. You can also filter hit rates over the past 15 games, but let's not push our luck.
Ja’Kobe Walter Over 1.5 Assists
Last Week: 1-0 | Season Record: 14-9 | Best Odds: -103 at DraftKings Sportsbook
This feels more like it. Our 5-star prop bet of the day is on a four-week streak of cashing bets, 5-0 over that span. Can we make it five weeks in a row?
Unfortunately, no NFL 5-star bets meet our criteria right now, so we will pivot to the one major professional league playing today-the NBA. The NBA Prop Bet Cheat Sheet currently lists 21 player props with a 100% hit rate over the last five games - including 10 5-star bets. Three of those bets feature rookie AJ Dybantsa, who is listed as doubtful, narrowing our options to seven.
We settled on Toronto Raptors guard Ja’Kobe Walter to go over 1.5 assists today versus the Orlando Magic. Walter has hit this number in all four games this season and in five straight dating back to last season.
In addition to recording at least two assists in five straight games, the Raptors guard has hit the over on this prop in seven of his last 10 games and 10 of his last 15 games. This season, he’s averaging 2.5 assists per game, with a season high of four assists in the team’s season opener. The Raptors played the Magic two days ago, and Walter dished out two assists in 27 minutes. He’s also averaging three potential assists per game.
The Raptors are averaging the eighth-most assists per game this season (27.3), while the Magic allow the second-most (30.8), just 0.8 assists fewer than the worst team (Brooklyn Nets, 30.8). When you narrow it down to shooting guards specifically - Walter’s position - the Magic allow 4.3 assists per game to the position.
The NBA Prop Bet Cheat Sheet lists this bet with a 34% projection EV and 67% cover probability. We feel confident Walter will dish out at least two dimes in NBA Cup Group Play action today.
