This is great value for three guys that LOVE to shoot the three-ball. FVV is good for 3-5 every night, but the other two are a little less accurate. The attempts are there for all three, and they are focal points in their respective offenses, so this is a play that is more about how great the value is. When taking scoring or shooting props, it is important to factor in how much the ball is in their hands. Edwards and Brown are both top-40 in the league in usage, so I think to get this under +200 is excellent value!
Cade Cunningham OVER 19.5 Points & OVER 5.5 Assists +275 @ Caesar’s Sportsbook
Betting on Cade Cunningham is extremely matchup based as the rookie gets his minutes and shares the ball. However, some games, the whole offense is stagnant. I do not expect this to be the case as he is comfortable with his opponent, having just faced this same Denver team last time out. He had 18 points and eight assists in that game and scored 25 in the game prior. I expect a complete performance from Cade and for him to keep up his 30% usage he has had in the last two games.
Arizona -2.5 and OVER 152.5 Points +260 @ BetRivers
Arizona takes on UCLA at the famous Pauley Pavillion and has a great chance to show the world where they stand tonight. They are top-ten on both sides of the ball, and they have the size to overwhelm anyone, especially one that is mediocre on two-pointers like the Bruins. Arizona will gun for 40 minutes, and UCLA will hang around for a while, but at the end of the day, Arizona should end up with 80-85 points in a comfortable but not blowout win.
NY SPECIAL: Sabres and Islanders both to win +285 @ BetRivers
With betting still fresh in New York, I like to try and throw these in when I can. The Sabres are against the league’s worst team, who they also beat last week. They are starting to come together as a unit, and I think this is a nice price to get them paired with the Islanders. The Isles are favorites against one of the league’s worst defenses, in the form of Philly, and they should be able to put on a show for the home fans here, but these teams together on the moneyline hold a ton of value.
