PLAY: Ja’Marr Chase and Hunter Renfrow to Each Score a TD +700 (BetRivers)
This is such great value for each quarterback’s favorite target. This same promo is on FanDuel, but it is only for +600. Ja’Marr Chase has come on in a big way this season, leading the team in touchdowns, and he also had a touchdown when these teams met head-to-head earlier this year, in which the Bengals won 32-13. This Raiders group has bonded since that game, as there have been drama, tragedy, and legal battles to deal with, but this only provided a chance for Hunter Renfrow’s role to expand. Look for any points the Raiders score to come from Renfrow or Daniel Carlson.
AVOID: Raiders & Patriots Both Win +800 (Caesar’s Sportsbook)
This is just not wise, in my opinion, to take two underdogs outright to win. For them to boost these odds to +800 is a trap, as parlaying the money lines away from the boost is +784. They are trying to raise the number of bets on the Raiders. While the Patriots are a decently popular underdog pick, they are paired with a team that is America’s darling right now, and I am sure is getting a lot of action. Avoid this “boost†if you even want to call it that.
PLAY: Cowboys Highest Scoring NFL Team 1/15-17 +900 (Caesar’s Sportsbook)
I found this one to be the most fascinating, as there weren’t any other teams to be compared to. This was the top offense in all of football, so at 9/1 odds, regardless of opponent, this is a good price to get the top offense to remain as such. They have a formidable opponent in San Francisco, but as we have seen, they are no stranger to allowing some points when there is good play-calling opposite them.
PLAY: Joe Burrow Over 20.5 Completions & Longest Completion Over 39.5 Yards +225 (Caesar’s Sportsbook)
Four of Joey Franchise’s last five games featured him completing 24 passes or more, which shows me that part of Burrow’s development is to have some games where they pass more than others. With that being said, they have realized that Burrow’s arm can be trusted for well over 40 attempts. Also, he completed 15 passes over 39.5 yards this season, which is essentially one per game. The combination of the reasonable completion number makes the price of +225 well worth it for us to spend to watch the Bengals’ young star sling it downfield!
