Best Super Bowl LIX Music Prop Bet Picks: National Anthem & Halftime Show (2025)
One of the biggest sports betting events of the year is here. The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will battle for the Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9th. Those looking to place wagers aren’t limited to just the play on the field, though.
Singer Jon Batiste will open FOX’s broadcast with his National Anthem performance and rapper Kendrick Lamar will take the stage in New Orleans during the halftime show. Let’s dive into some of the music prop bets listed on FanDuel Sportsbook. Keep an eye on any line movement leading up to Sunday as these odds are subject to change.

Best Super Bowl LIX Music Prop Bets: Chiefs vs. Eagles
(Odds Courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
National Anthem Length Over 120.5 Seconds (-142)
Jon Batiste is a five-time Grammy winner and is known as a stellar multi-instrumentalist. That is worth mentioning as FanDuel’s National Anthem Length is settled “from the first note played (instrument or voice) to the last note (instrument or voice).” The odds for Jon Batiste to perform with a piano are listed at -400 to Yes. After all, he tickled the ivories when he sang the National Anthem at the 2017 NBA All-Star Game. That rendition started with a piano solo and clocked in right around the two-minute mark.
The most recent National Anthem singer to also play the piano was Alicia Keys in 2013. That delivery coincidentally took place at Caesars Superdome and lasted a Super Bowl record two minutes and 36 seconds. Overall, eight of the last 12 National Anthem performances at the Big Game have carried beyond 120 seconds. Jon Batiste is a Louisiana native and will surely put forth his best effort with the country tuning in. Expect him to hold out a couple of notes and highlight his piano skills in a musical display that cashes the over.
Halftime Show First Song Played: Humble (+160) or DNA (+500)
Kendrick Lamar has no shortage of enormous hits in his catalog. His viral Drake diss track titled “Not Like Us” was the fastest solo rap song to surpass one billion streams on Spotify. However, it would be surprising to see the 37-year-old begin the halftime show with that song. Artists tend to kick off the festivities with a banger that puts the crowd in an immediate energetic mood. For example, Dr. Dre/Snoop Dogg opened with “Next Episode” and Rihanna started with “B***h Better Have My Money.”
Take note that Kendrick Lamar should showcase a few of his solo hits before SZA joins him on stage to feature their collaborations. That points me in the direction of his 2017 album “DAMN.” It was an effort that awarded him the 2018 Grammy for Best Rap Album. Both “Humble” and “DNA” have iconic explosive intros that should get fans in the stadium out of their seats and those at home off of their couches. Each powerful track is recognizable and provides a great bridge to the rapper’s newer music, too.
Celebrity Guest to Appear on Stage: Baby Keem (+110)
The halftime show at Super Bowl LVIII certainly didn’t lack celebrity guests. Usher brought out a group of stars that included Alicia Keys, Jermaine Dupri, H.E.R., Lil Jon, will.i.am and Ludacris. Kendrick Lamar may not go that deep into his network, but his connection with Baby Keem makes this an enticing bet.
Baby Keem is his cousin and worked with him on the song “Family Ties,” which won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance in 2022. Back on it being on the halftime setlist as its beat is made to be blasted from stadium speakers. The fact Baby Keem has already been on tour with Kendrick Lamar only adds to the intrigue. Lock this in while it’s still at plus-odds.
