Best Super Bowl LV Parlays

The beauty of the Super Bowl is that you can bet on virtually anything. Unfortunately, most sportsbooks do apply limits to what you can parlay. Sorry in advance to the people who wanted to see a parlay featuring the over on the national anthem and the over on Tom Brady’s rushing yards.

However, some books do post specific player prop and game prop parlay options. I’ve pored through all the options and picked two favorites from the bunch. Below are my best Super Bowl LV parlays.

I’m picking the Chiefs to win this game and for Mahomes to have an enormous role in the victory. He’s also my best bet to win Super Bowl MVP at -106, so this bet correlates well with how I see the game playing out.

I don’t expect Kansas City to have much success on the ground against Tampa Bay’s No. 1 ranked run defense. And that’s perfectly fine, as the Chiefs don’t need to run the ball well to succeed offensively.

The matchup between Tampa Bay’s front seven and Kansas City’s banged-up offensive line is concerning. However, Mahomes has proven he not only survives pressure, but he also thrives under it. He should be able to feast on a Tampa Bay secondary that has been vulnerable at times this season.

This bet gives me a good opportunity to bet on a Chiefs victory and an excellent performance from Mahomes without laying three points or -142 on the money line.

Pick: Patrick Mahomes over 300 passing yards + Chiefs victory (+145)

Bonus Super Bowl LV Parlay

If you’re looking for a somewhat longer shot, I recommend taking Watkins’ over in receiving yards. At least on DraftKings, bets are refunded if the player doesn’t log one snap. So you’re covered if Watkins ultimately misses this game.

Watkins is technically listed as questionable with a calf injury that’s held him out of Kansas City’s first two playoff games. But all signs point to him playing on Sunday.

I see a lot of value on Watkins’ props across the board. We all know Tampa Bay’s emphasis will be on containing Tyreek Hill deep and Travis Kelce over the middle. That should free up Watkins for a possible feast.

The Buccaneers have been generous to opposing teams’ No. 2 receivers. Plus, Mahomes and Watkins have a unique connection in the postseason. In five playoff games with Mahomes, Watkins has been targeted 34 times and has hauled in 24 of them for 464 yards and a touchdown. He’s had at least 62 yards in all of those games.

Watkins tends to shine when the spotlight is brightest. His injuries this season have made him a bit of an afterthought heading into Super Bowl LV. If he’s active, I’d expect him to play a bigger role in a Chiefs victory than many expect.

Pick: Sammy Watkins over 50 receiving yards + Chiefs win (+225)
