Best Sweet 16 Prop Bets (NCAA Tournament)

The first two rounds of March Madness didn’t disappoint. Upsets led to Cinderella opportunities, and now we have multiple double-digit seeds vying for a shot at the Final Four. With the Sweet 16 this weekend, I’m here to share my favorite prop bets!

Arkansas -11.5 and Over 159: +260

Oral Roberts had an impressive two-game showing to open the tournament. However, we must remember that they are still a 15-seed. These two teams play up-tempo, and while ORU shoots a lot of threes, Arkansas should have their way down low.

The Razorbacks should outsize the Golden Eagles and capitalize on second-chance opportunities. Oral Roberts depends on the three-ball, and I can see them shooting well in the first half to keep it close. But after a nice run, They may not be able to keep up with Eric Musselman’s Razorbacks. In this plus money, this is a nice bet, especially given the fast-paced Arkansas offense.

Gonzaga Alternate First Half -11: +215

If any team is ready to hit the ground running and prove their worth, it’s Gonzaga. The Bulldogs have a plethora of scoring options. And if you give Mark Few and Co. ample time to prepare and rest, they could probably beat the Houston Rockets at this point.

I don’t see how Creighton can match up with the Zags in this game. The Blue Jays won’t be able to get any boards, while Gonzaga will dominate down-low scoring and in transition. I don’t exactly expect this to be a close game, and the Blue Jays should struggle against an underrated Bulldog defense. I am absolutely willing to take Gonzaga -11 in the first half with this line in the plus money.

USC Alternate Spread -7: +220

In one of the more exciting Sweet 16 matchups, these two Pac-12 teams promise to set off some fireworks. In their only contest this season, USC handled the Ducks from the get-go and won 72-58. Evan Mobley wasn’t even heavily involved in that game, as he only scored 11 points without much else to fill the stat sheet.

However, Mobley played on a whole other level against Kansas. He scored just 10 points, but he also grabbed nine rebounds and dished out five assists. Oh, and he recorded three blocks and a steal.

Mobley will be the best player on the court in this game, and the Trojans’ role players have shown that they can step up when called upon. This should be a much closer matchup than their February one, but I still expect USC to pull away in the end. Their size and athleticism will be too much for the Ducks to handle, and again, I love getting any bet in the plus money when I feel confident.
