Saturday’s Best Big3 Picks & Predictions: Triplets vs. Ball Hogs

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Chicago Triplets vs. Boston Ball Hogs

When the Triplets and Ball Hogs met earlier this season, the Triplets won a thriller, 53-51. Considering the Ball Hogs also have the league's leading scorer (Jeremy Pargo), it may be tempting to back the Ball Hogs as small underdogs here. However, I think this spread is a trap.

When these two teams met earlier this season, Chicago’s leading scorer Montrezl Harrell didn't play. Harrell scored 153 points this season, the second-most in the league, despite playing only five games. He finished the regular season averaging 30.6 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. To put it frankly, when he's on the court, he's unstoppable.

Neither the Ball Hogs nor the Triplets provide great support for their star players. And while the stats are slightly better for Pargo's teammates, I think that Harrell is more likely to take over this game and dominate.

Pick: Triplets -2.5 (-110)
