NFL Week 16 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Bills vs. Bears

Temperatures in the negatives are expected with windy conditions. Luckily, for the Bears, this won’t affect their gameplan too much. Their dual running attack of David Montgomery and Justin Fields has shot up to 9th in DVOA rankings and will be leaned on heavily again here.

The Bills meanwhile, don’t possess an elite running game (ranking 15th in DVOA), but against a Bears defense that has trouble stopping anyone this may not be much of an issue. Wind factors could slow down the Bills’ passing attack but Josh Allen has one of the strongest arms in the league and can make plays when needed against this Chicago team.

Weather conditions are likely to keep this game a low scoring ground affair. As explosive as the run game has been for Chicago, if there’s no threat to throw the ball, Buffalo’s stout defense should be able to contain it. The under is the best play here even with a Bills offense that should still be able to put up some points.
