NFL Week 17 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Bills vs. Bengals

The Week 17 marquee game comes on monday night, as the AFC’s top seeded Bills travel to face the reigning conference champion Bengals.

Cincy has been scorching lately, winning seven straight and covering the spread each game. In fact, Burrow’s Bengals are an astounding 19-3 ATS in his last 22 starts. Streaks like this must end, but it is appealing to catch Cincinnati as a home underdog amid such success.

Buffalo, on the other hand, has been no slouch either. The Bills have won six straight since dropping consecutive games to the Jets and Vikings, though they have not covered the spread as consistently as the Bengals– Buffalo is 2-6-1 ATS over the last nine games.

As of writing, only 33% of the bets placed have been on Buffalo, and perhaps recency bias has influenced bettors to side with the Bengals. Despite this, it feels like the right time to back off of Cincinnati. The Bills have been/ are the Super Bowl favorites, and this is a fair number to back them at.
