Our strong start has taken a turn for the worse — we were cleaned out last week! A couple of goals were the difference from a 2-1 week to a 0-3 week, but that’s how the cookie crumbles. We’re now at 10-8 on the year with our Bundesliga picks.

There is a quick turnaround this week, as the teams have Monday off but get back in action on Tuesday. Here’s a look at our picks for Matchday 32.

Werder Bremen vs. Bayern Munich

Odds: Bremen +1200, Draw +650, Munich -600

Bayern Munich let us down last week, as they won by just one goal instead of two. Part of it was some player issues, as Robert Lewandowski, the team’s leading scorer, and Thomas Muller, the team’s leader in assists, both missed the game. They should be back in action on Tuesday.

I’m not expecting Bayern to stumble in this spot, as they’re just one win away from clinching the Bundesliga. In this matchup, they’re going up against Werder Bremen, the 17th-ranked squad in the Bundesliga standings. They are fighting just to avoid relegation.

I’m looking for the under, as Werder has played well defensively of late. They gave up one goal to Paderborn last week, but that was the first time in six matches that they conceded. Bayern will score here, but I’m anticipating that Werder’s defense will do enough to keep this somewhat low-scoring.

Pick: Under 3.5 Goals -108

Leverkusen vs. FC Koln

Odds: Leverkusen -230, Draw +390, FC Koln +550

I got burned by taking Leverkusen -1 last week, but I hope that they can come through for us here. This game is important for them, as they’re looking to maintain their top-4 finish. Ending up in one of those slots means that they’ll head to the Champions League next season. They’re just one point up on Monchengladbach, so every point will have some extra value going forward.

Leverkusen has what should be a layup against FC Koln in this spot. Koln has yet to win since the return to action, and their games have featured plenty of goals. I wouldn’t blame you for betting the over here, as their last six games have averaged 3.8 goals per outing.

Instead, I’ll bet on Leverkusen -1 here, as Cologne has nothing to play for. Also, they’re just 4-2-9 in road games this season, while Leverkusen is a decent 7-4-4 at home.

Pick: Leverkusen -1 +115

Monchengladbach vs. Wolfsburg

Odds: Monchengladbach +120, Draw +250, Wolfsburg +210

This is a matchup of the No. 5 and No. 6 teams in the Bundesliga standings. On paper, Monchengladbach should have the edge. The gap is bigger than you might think, however, as Monchengladbach has 10 more points in the standings than Wolfsburg. They’re also 10-2-3 at home this season.

However, I don’t think the gap between these two is so wide. To start, Monchengladbach has just one win in their last five, which includes a loss to SC Freiburg and a draw with Werder Bremen. Wolfsburg has been decent since the restart, as they’ve won all three of their away games while drawing once and losing once at home. They’ve been strong on the road all season long, and they have an 8-2-3 record in away games.

We can get Wolfsburg at +1 (-160), or you can take them in Double Chance (Wolfsburg & Draw at -165), but I like them at +1 here. This should be a competitive match.

Pick: Wolfsburg +1 -160
