In the Broncos’ first game after firing Nathaniel Hackett, they lost to the Chiefs by three points. Russell Wilson ran for two touchdowns in that game while throwing for one. They may need to lean on their run game this week against the league’s sixth-best passing defense (196.2 passing yards per game). The Broncos are still ranked last in points per game and third-down efficiency, though.

The Chargers have clinched a playoff spot but still are rounding into form on offense. The team averaged 122.3 rushing yards per game in their previous three games, which is much better than their average of 91.6 rushing yards per game. Austin Ekeler has run for six TDs in the team’s four-game win streak and relieved Justin Herbert of the scoring burden. The Chargers are finding themselves on offense at the right time and should look to build some momentum going into the postseason.
