Sunday’s Best College Baseball World Series Picks

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

No. 7 Georgia Bulldogs (-188) vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys (+145) | O/U 14.0 (-115/-115)

In what could be one of the best games of the early slate, we have the Cowboys trying to claw their way back into the winner’s bracket, while the Bulldogs look to secure a rematch with the Duke Blue Devils in the Regional Finals.

Oklahoma State dug itself into a deep hole with a first-round loss to Duke. After a disappointing loss, they took out their aggression on Binghamton, routing them 13-5 to avoid elimination.

Today, the Cowboys turn to ace Harrison Bodendorf. He has been their best starter, posting a 10-1 record with a 2.77 ERA. Bodendorf looks to tame a Bulldogs offense that can swing with the best of them.

Even without a confirmed starter from Georgia, I think Oklahoma State is a live underdog this afternoon and has a great shot to win outright.

Pick: Oklahoma State Moneyline (+145)

College Baseball World Series Parlay of the Day

With our parlay of the day, we are looking to back two top-notch teams that should find their way back in the winner’s bracket after disappointing losses.

  • Leg 1: Texas Longhorns Moneyline (-245)
  • Leg 2: Vanderbilt Commodores Moneyline (-620)

Leg 1: Texas Longhorns Moneyline

Our first leg will be the Texas Longhorns on the Moneyline. The Longhorns lost to in-state foe University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) after blowing an early 6-1 lead. The Longhorns had multiple chances to expand the lead and win the game comfortably, but defensive miscues and leaving runners on base left the door open for UTSA, and the Roadrunners took full advantage, winning 9-7

Texas will look to turn things around against a struggling Kansas State team. The Wildcats have lost five of their last eight games and were nearly eliminated last night by Holy Cross.

I think the Longhorns take care of business today and look for revenge against UTSA.

Leg 2: Vanderbilt Commodores Moneyline

Our second leg will be Vanderbilt on the Moneyline.

You can make a case that Vanderbilt is lucky to still be alive after being nearly no-hit in their first matchup against Wright State and then losing last night to Louisville.

The Commodores needed a three-run eighth inning to squeak out a victory in their opening game after Wright State's Cam Allen pitched a no-hitter into the seventh inning.

Once Allen was pulled, Vanderbilt’s power bats came to life, belting three home runs over the next two innings.

Wright State avoided elimination with a 7-5 win over East Tennessee State University and now looks for revenge against Vanderbilt in a rematch.

Unfortunately for the Raiders, they run out of steam, and I expect Vanderbilt’s bats to come alive after a slow start.

Parlay Odds: -159
