Michigan at Nebraska: Pick Nebraska +7.5
(Tip 7 p.m. ET)

Nebraska has taken a little of a slide in the last week with back-to-back losses, including a heart-breaking four-overtime defeat to NC State. The Cornhuskers aren’t strong defensively, and they have been able to use Bryce McGowan and Alonzo Verge Jr. with their transition speed to make plays down low and create offense.

On the other hand, Michigan has played excellent defense this season and can play full pressure and force you to make bad shots. 7-foot-1 center Hunter Dickinson, who is averaging 14.5 points and 8..5 rebounds per game, showed off his long-range last game against San Diego State as he went 3-for-3 from behind the arch.

Michigan will have a ton of trouble in this game trying to contain both Verge Jr. and McGowan. The Wolverines’ best chance to put off a road win is to hit shots outside of the perimeter, but most of Nebraska’s opponents haven’t been able to accomplish that most of the year. The Cornhuskers were able to hold down another Big Ten big man in Indiana’s Trayce Jackson-Davis, and they will have similar success with Dickinson.

UTEP at Kansas: Pick Over 144.5
(Tip 8 p.m. ET)

Kansas is once again ready to compete for a championship as they start the season 6-1, and that loss was by two against No. 3 Dayton. This season, Kansas guard Ochai Agbaji has been a force and an early All-American by averaging 22.5 points per game.

UTEP has a guard of their own they rely on. Junior Jamal Bieniemy has scored 23 percent of the Miners’ points this season and is averaging 15.2 over his last five games. Abaji and Bieniemy will be the key matchup to follow in this game.

UTEP faced Kansas at the end of the regular season in 2020-21 and were close to coming away with the upset until the Jayhawks made a late charge for a 67-62 win. For most of the season, Kansas has struggled on defense, including allowing over 73 points in three straight games. Bieniemy and Souley Boum have the ability to score outside of the perimeter, and if they can hit those shots, each team is going to run up the score.

Eastern Kentucky at USC: Pick USC -17.5
(Tip 10 p.m. ET)

USC has started the season off tremendously as they are a perfect eight out of eight. Memphis transfer Boogie Ellis has played great so far this season as he’s shown to be a great facilitator and has the ability to get hot as he has 17 or more points in five games this season. Forwards Isaiah Mobley and Chevez Goodwin have been a force in the frontcourt and are reasons why they’re tenth in the country in rebounds per game (43.1).

Eastern Kentucky is not a strong defensive team, their game plan is just to outscore you, and they’ve been able to accomplish that they’re 31st in points scored per game (82.4).

Eastern Kentucky’s best way to compete is by hitting their shots, as they won’t be getting very many second-chance opportunities. Look for Elis to have a bounce back after struggling in his last game with just six points against Washington State. EKU forward Jannson Williams has been their one defensive bright spot this season, but he can’t hold down Mobley and Goodwin.

Total Parlay Odds (FanDuel): +595
