College Football 2022 Bowl Game Same Game Parlays Odds, Picks & Predictions: Saturday (12/31)

It’s been a tremendous 2022 college football season, as we are now less than 24 hours away from it turning into the 2022-23 college football season. As the CFP gets the bulk of the coverage, there are four games in total beginning at noon Eastern. Let’s take a closer look at a few spots I’m on throughout the day.

College Football 2022 Bowl Game Same Game Parlays Odds, Picks & Predictions: Saturday (12/31)

(#5) Alabama vs. (#9) Kansas State

  • Leg 1: Kansas State +6.5 (-110)
  • Leg 2: Kansas State Team Total – Under 20.5 (+155)

Although the No. 5 Crimson Tide (10-2) and No. 9 Wildcats (10-3) approach the Sugar Bowl on Saturday afternoon from different angles, both teams realize the game’s significance. Although top defense Will Anderson Jr. and Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Bryce Young have said they will play in the Sugar Bowl, 15 Alabama players have reportedly entered the transfer portal, according to 247Sports.

There haven’t been any opt-outs for the Wildcats, and standout running back Deuce Vaughn says he won’t make up his mind about leaving early for the NFL until after the Sugar Bowl. I expect the Wildcats to pound the ball in this one, keeping a low-scoring game close throughout.

Parlay Odds: +370

(#3) TCU vs. (#2) Michigan

  • Leg 1: Under 58.5 (-110)
  • Leg 2: Max Duggan Alternate Rushing Yards – Over 30 Yards (+155)
  • Leg 3: Kendre Miller Alternate Rushing Yards – Over 60 Yards (-320)

In what could end up being his final game for the Horned Frogs, Heisman runner-up Max Duggan will suit up at least one more time before heading to the NFL. With 36 total touchdowns on the year, six came on the ground, as Duggan has become known for doing whatever it takes to get the job done.

Facing a stout Michigan defense, I expect Duggan to get out in the open a few times and have himself a game here on the ground. I also like for Duggan’s running back, Kendre Miller, to be a focal point of the game plan. With over 1,300 yards to go along with 17 touchdowns on the season, Miller should be just fine eclipsing this alternate total.

Speaking of rushing attacks, the Wolverines have an ace of their own in Donovan Edwards. Playing backup to Blake Corum all season, Edwards got his chance late in the season when Corum went down, and he hasn’t looked back.

Over the season’s final two games, facing Ohio State and Purdue to clinch the Big Ten, Edwards picked up 401 yards and three touchdowns. Look for a similar performance here.

Parlay Odds: +525
