College Football Parlay Picks for Week 4 (2021)

After the fun weekend of college football that was, it’s on to Week 4 of the season. This Saturday’s slate of games has a little bit of everything. Fans and bettors will be able to enjoy several intriguing nonconference battles as well as a number of league games. Of course, having several options to choose from is always helpful when it comes to putting together some college football parlay bets.

You know, college football always makes time fly, but it is still crazy to think that we are already one whole month into the season. Pretty soon, league play for all ten FBS conferences will be in full swing, and the intensity will only pick up. It has been a wild season thus far, and we could be in store for some more surprises this weekend! Read on for two featured Week 4 college football parlays as we aim for a winning week to cap off the month of September.

Week 3 College Football Parlays Recap

Unfortunately, neither of our featured Week 3 parlays were able to get there. We had one near-miss, courtesy of the biggest favorite in the play. Toledo not only failed to cover at home against a bad Colorado State team, but they lost the game outright. Our second featured ticket never had much of a chance. Time to get back to the grind and turn things around in Week 4.

Week 4 Featured College Football Parlay #1

This week, we are breaking up our two featured parlays into separate time slots. That way, bettors can enjoy some action during both the afternoon and primetime windows on Saturday. This first parlay features five legs in total. Four of the picks are large moneyline favorites. The fifth play to really help boost the odds has us taking the points with an SEC underdog. Read on for a closer look at each bet in this +219 parlay ticket.

Texas A&M vs. Arkansas (+4.5)

The chances of this parlay hitting could very well come down to this point spread prediction. Texas A&M and Arkansas will renew their SEC rivalry at Jerry’s World on Saturday. This spread has moved a full point from earlier in the week to now, dropping from 5.5 to 4.5 in favor of the 7th-ranked Aggies. It’s hard to argue with the sharp money that has already come in on Arkansas in this spot.

For starters, Aggies quarterback Haynes King will remain sidelined this week after suffering a leg injury that required surgery two weeks ago. Backup Zach Calzada threw for 275 yards and three scores in last week’s romp over New Mexico. But let’s be honest here: the Lobos are a Mountain West bottom-feeder. There was no way A&M was going to lose to them at home.

While Texas A&M has left a lot to be desired over their first three games, Arkansas has been one of the most impressive teams in the country. They handled their business against two Group of 5 opponents, including a 45-10 rout of Georgia Southern last week. The Razorbacks also took it to a ranked Texas team in Week 2, winning by 19. Sam Pittman has been a major breath of energy and fresh air for a program that is now ranked 16th in the country. Not only are the Hogs a great bet to cover, but they could easily pull off the outright upset as well.

Washington State at Utah (-630)

After losing each of the last two weeks on the road, the Utes to be thrilled to be back in the friendly confines of Salt Lake City. They are vastly superior in terms of talent and will be looking to take out some frustrations after a triple-overtime loss to San Diego State last week.

Kent State at Maryland (-650)

The Terps pulled out a gritty 20-17 win on the road at Illinois last Friday. Things should come much easier at home this week for Taulia Tagovailoa and Co. against Kent State. With 5th-ranked Iowa on deck, this moneyline pick is not to be confused with taking Maryland ATS.

Colorado State at Iowa (-2000)

So, the Rams beat us last week huh? All we can do is dare them to beat us again. Iowa has allowed an average of 10.0 points over its first three games. Sorry CSU, it’s not happening.

Kansas at Duke (-720)

Kansas got its first (and, let’s be honest, only) win of the season in Week 1 by three points over FCS-level South Dakota. Duke actually got upset by Charlotte in Week 1 but has won twice since, including last week over Northwestern. Betting on any FBS program to beat Kansas outright isn’t exactly rocket science.

Week 4 Featured College Football Parlay #2

Our second featured college football parlay for Week 4 is much like the first. Four convincing moneyline favorites combine with a lone ATS pick to produce a ticket with payout odds of +224. Each pick is examined in further detail below.

FAU at Air Force (-4)

We actually went against Air Force in last week’s college football parlays column. That pick got there as Utah State not only covered but won outright in a shootout for the ages. The Falcons are at home once again this week as they welcome in Florida Atlantic of Conference USA. Any astute geographer should be able to quickly point out that it’s a lengthy trip for the Owls to be making.

FAU has been impressive in starting 2-1 and even hung in there against Florida in their opener. However, a Florida team going all the way to Colorado for a primetime affair isn’t exactly an ideal spot. After falling short in last week’s high-scoring affair, Air Force will be looking to get back on track. Troy Calhoun’s offense comes in averaging 347 rushing yards and 34 points per contest. Good luck to FAU in slowing that down.

Buffalo (-550) at Old Dominion

By no means is Buffalo as talented a team as they have been in recent years. That said, they did play a top-tier Group of 5 team in Coastal Carolina to a three-point game last week. Meanwhile, Old Dominion is bad. Like one of the worst teams in FBS bad. UB will win this one.

Navy at Houston (-1250)

Navy is another team on the list of programs that power rate near the bottom of college football this season. The Midshipmen actually fired their offensive coordinator (who was rumored to be the head coach in waiting) after their blowout loss to Air Force. Houston will roll in this one.

North Texas at Louisiana Tech (-450)

After losing on a last-second Hail Mary heave last week, there’s no way Skip Holtz and the Bulldogs won’t be ready to play on Saturday. If not for that and a missed field goal on the final play against SEC foe Mississippi State, LA Tech would be 3-0 coming into this matchup. Meanwhile, North Texas lost by 23 to that same SMU team.

Tennessee at Florida (-1125)

Tennessee has done nothing to make the case that we shouldn’t fade them when making college football picks. While Florida might be a bit overvalued by the market this week after a hard-fought loss against Alabama, the Gators are a safe moneyline bet to round out our parlay.
