Michigan at Maryland, 12 PM, ABC

The Wolverines finally stepped up in a big spot last weekend with a convincing victory over Notre Dame. The Terrapins have dropped four of five since opening up the season with some promise, but it’s tough to trust a skittish Michigan team giving up this many points on the road.

The Pick: Maryland +21 (-110)

NC State at Wake Forest, 12 PM, ESPN

Both clubs had last weekend off, so we’ll be treated to a showdown of ACC Coastal rivals who are rested up. Wake Forest has just a single blemish on the year via a wild shootout loss to Louisville. They get the job done on their home turf, but NC State makes a game of it.

The Pick: NC State +7.5 (-110)

Houston at UCF, 12 PM, ESPN2

Heading into the season, this AAC clash looked like a potential preview of the Conference championship game. Redshirt seasons at Houston have changed the perspective. Meanwhile, UCF is back on track, and they rolled over Temple last week. They should do the same here.

The Pick: UCF -22 (-110)

Nebraska at Purdue, 12 PM, FOX

Perhaps this year’s biggest example of preseason hype gone awry resides in Nebraska. The Cornhuskers have dropped three of the last four and have looked nothing like the team many expected. Purdue has its problems, but the Boilermakers will show up on their home field.

The Pick: Purdue +3 (-110)

Virginia Tech at Notre Dame, 2:30 PM, NBC

Since an embarrassing pounding at the hands of Duke a few weeks back, the Hokies have quietly won three in a row. The Fighting Irish are looking to bounce back from last week’s shellacking at Michigan. They win on the home field, but Virginia Tech will make them sweat.

The Pick: Virginia Tech +17.5 (-110)

Georgia vs. Florida, 3:30 PM, CBS

The marquee game of Week 10 takes place in Jacksonville with the SEC East on the line. The Bulldogs and Gators both enter this game with a single loss, and the matchup is pretty close in all facets. Georgia may get the outright win as expected, but Florida can cover the hefty spread.

The Pick: Florida +6.5 (-110)

Kansas State at Kansas, 3:30 PM, FS1

After years of this rivalry game only appealing to diehard fans of both programs, there’s actually some intrigue for the rest of the nation. The Wildcats stunned Oklahoma last week, while the Jayhawks have shown flashes of improvement this season. Kansas State is the better team on paper, but the hosts will put up a fight and make it interesting.

The Pick: Kansas +6 (-110)

Army at Air Force, 3:30 PM, CBSSN

It’s a down year for Army, while Air Force is having itself a fine season and is looking like one of the better squads in the Mountain West. While the differing records may point to a squash match for the hosts, Army will be up for this rivalry game and keep it closer than expected.

The Pick: Army +14.5 (-110)

TCU at Oklahoma State, 3:30 PM, ESPN

Both clubs are riding high after upset wins in Week 9 — TCU over Texas and Oklahoma State over Iowa State — so one of them is in line for a letdown. The hosts are the more complete team overall and should handle business in this toss-up matchup.

The Pick: Oklahoma State -3 (-110)

Utah at Washington, 4 PM, FOX

It’s a down year for the Huskies, while the Utes are one of the tops in the Pac-12. That said, the conference as a whole is messy this season. Washington remains strong on its home turf and can keep this one close. An outright upset isn’t out of the question either.

The Pick: Washington +3.5 (-110)
