Utah State at LSU, 12 PM, SEC

LSU has been one of the most impressive teams in the nation thus far, and Joe Burrow has firmly inserted himself into the Heisman conversation. The betting public is well aware of both developments. This line has climbed from an open of 25, and it may keep going. The Tigers win with ease, but Utah State can keep it closer than four touchdowns.

The Pick: Utah State +27.5 (-110)

Oklahoma at Kansas, 12 PM, ABC

The Oklahoma offense remains as dominant as ever with Jalen Hurts behind center. He’s another Heisman favorite, and he may just pad his totals on Saturday afternoon. However, Kansas is no longer the Big 12 pushover they once were. There’s still plenty of work to do to bring the program back, but the Jayhawks can take another step and keep the margin under 30.

The Pick: Kansas +32 (-110)

Purdue at Penn State, 12 PM, ESPN

After receiving a scare from Pittsburgh on the home field, Penn State went to Maryland and decimated the Terrapins by a score of 59-0. They return home with a chance to put on a show. Purdue is down starting quarterback Elijah Sindelar and stud wideout Rondale Moore. That’s a huge hit for an offense that can’t afford one as it heads to the lion’s den.

The Pick: Penn State -28 (-110)

Iowa at Michigan, 12 PM, FOX

The Hawkeyes are undefeated and in line to be a big factor in the Big Ten West. The Wolverines were crushed by Wisconsin two weeks ago, but they did bounce back to hammer Rutgers. The competition level steps up for the hosts once again this week, and they simply haven’t shown they’re up to the task versus equal programs. Iowa covers and an upset isn’t out of the question.

The Pick: Iowa +3.5 (-110)

Oklahoma State at Texas Tech, 12 PM, FS1

Oklahoma and Texas get the headlines in the Big 12, but the Cowboys are among the teams lurking if either of them slips up. The team’s lone blemish on the year is a six-point road loss at the Longhorns. Texas Tech is 2-2 after dropping two in a row, both on the road. The return home won’t be friendly as Oklahoma State picks up a double-digit win.

The Pick: Oklahoma State -10 (-110)

Auburn at Florida, 3:30 PM, CBS

A showdown of two top-10 SEC programs makes for a fine way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Auburn is another team that has impressed mightily in the early going. Florida hasn’t been a slouch by any means, but they also haven’t faced the level of competition that the Tigers have. That’s a difference-maker when the chips are down. Auburn stays perfect and covers.

The Pick: Auburn -3 (-110)

Texas at West Virginia, 3:30 PM, ABC

The Longhorns lone loss of the year came at home to an LSU team which is playing lights out football. The Mountaineers are also 3-1 but have been rather skittish. The team had a tough time with James Madison and was blown out by Missouri. Texas has a highly-anticipated date with Oklahoma next week, but they won’t make the mistake of looking past this one.

The Pick: Texas -10.5 (-110)

Baylor at Kansas State, 3:30 PM, ESPN2

The Bears are undefeated, while the Wildcats are a solid 3-1. Even though these two squads aren’t among the Big 12 elite, they have both shown solid signs of improvement in 2019. Baylor handled Iowa State last week, while Kansas State picked up a road upset over Mississippi State a few weeks back. The Wildcats squeak out a victory here to continue the upward trajectory.

The Pick: Kansas State -1 (-110)

Air Force at Navy, 3:30 PM, CBSSN

Air Force has impressed this season while opening at 3-1. Navy is looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Memphis which dropped the record to 2-1. The matchup itself is pretty even across the board, but the Falcons are installed as road favorites. It’s going to be a tough, hard-nosed affair. Navy bounces back from last week with an upset victory this time around.

The Pick: Navy +3.5 (-110)

Virginia Tech at Miami, 3:30 PM, ESPN

The Hokies were just blown out by Duke, so it’s easy to see why they’re being dismissed here. Add in the fact that Miami is a tough defensive team, and a home win for the Hurricanes seems pretty likely. However, this Miami team has problems of its own to tend to. They pick up the victory here, but Virginia Tech keeps it interesting.

The Pick:Virginia Tech +14 (-110)
