South Carolina at Georgia, 12 PM, ESPN

Outside of a stiff test from Notre Dame, the Bulldogs have cruised to a 5-0 record with four double-digit victories. The Gamecocks have struggled against stronger teams with two of their three losses coming by 20 points or more. Georgia pads the resume with a win and cover.

The Pick: Georgia -24 (-110)

Oklahoma vs. Texas, 12 PM, FOX

The annual Red River Showdown is a highlight of the regular-season schedule. It’s made even better by the fact that these are the best two squads in the Big 12. Five of the last six meetings have been decided by seven points or less. Make it six of seven. Sooners win, but Longhorns keep it interesting and cover.

The Pick: Texas +11 (-110)

Michigan at Illinois, 12 PM, ABC

Since being embarrassed by Wisconsin, the Wolverines have responded by winning their last two in a row. Illinois has dropped three straight while allowing 34 points or more in each of the games. Michigan shouldn’t have any trouble picking up the win and cover over a lesser foe.

The Pick: Michigan -22.5 (-110)

Memphis at Temple, 12 PM, ESPN2

The undefeated Tigers are clearly the better team on paper. However, this is a tricky spot for them as the Owls are tough on defense and solid at home. The end result should be a competitive affair that comes down to the wire. Memphis escapes with a win, but Temple covers.

The Pick: Temple +5.5 (-110)

Alabama at Texas A&M, 3:30 PM, CBS

The Crimson Tide haven’t been seriously tested while running their mark to 5-0. The Aggies have a brutal schedule this season and have already dropped two games to ranked teams. They’ll put up a fight on Kyle Field and make the visitors work for it, but Alabama rolls to victory.

The Pick: Texas A&M +17 (-110)

Florida State at Clemson, 3:30 PM, ABC

The last time we saw Clemson, they escaped with a one-point road win over North Carolina. They’ve had some time off since then to listen to endless speculation about what’s wrong with the powerhouse team. They will demonstrate they are just fine with a huge win and cover at home.

The Pick: Clemson -27 (-110)

Washington State at Arizona State, 3:30 PM, PAC12

This is a toss-up game between two Pac-12 clubs which are headed in opposite directions. Things aren’t going well for the visiting Cougars as they’ve dropped two in a row. The Sun Devils are 4-1 behind a stout defense. The stronger defensive squad gets the win at home.

The Pick: Arizona State PK (-110)

Cincinnati at Houston, 3:30 PM, ESPN2

This is a potential let-down spot for Cincinnati after a big home win over UCF last Friday. That doesn’t mean they’re going to fall into the trap. This is one of the top Group of Five programs in 2019 with a stout defense. They’ll handle a Houston team that is having personnel issues.

The Pick: Cincinnati -7.5 (-110)

Michigan State at Wisconsin, 3:30 PM, BTN

Through five games, the Badgers have three shutout wins and have allowed a grand total of 29 points. Jonathan Taylor is running over everything in sight, but the stout Spartans’ defense will pose a test. Wisconsin passes it with flying colors with a home win and cover.

The Pick: Wisconsin -10.5 (-110)

Iowa State at West Virginia, 4 PM, ESPN

The Cyclones are stronger than the 3-2 record suggests, as the two losses have come by a total of three points. The Mountaineers have struggled against tougher foes this year, but they managed to cover at home versus Texas. They lose here but manage to keep it respectable on the home field.

The Pick: West Virginia +10 (-110)
