25) Air Force Falcons, 9-2

The Falcons are riding a six-game winning streak as they get set for Saturday’s finale versus Wyoming. Over the impressive run, five of the wins have been of the double-digit variety.

24) Virginia Cavaliers, 8-3

On Friday afternoon, the Cavaliers head to Virginia Tech to decide the ACC Coastal. The winner goes on to meet Clemson in the conference title game.

23) Virginia Tech Hokies, 8-3

The Hokies and Cavaliers match up well, and both squads are riding three-game winning streaks. That should make for a quality viewing experience on Black Friday.

22) Appalachian State Mountaineers, 10-1

The Mountaineers have run away with the Sun Belt East this season. They have a road game at Troy this weekend in advance of next week’s conference final.

21) Oklahoma State Cowboys, 8-3

The Cowboys are riding a four-game winning streak as they head into Week 14. They’ll be home on Saturday night to take on rival Oklahoma with an upset on their minds.

20) Iowa Hawkeyes, 8-3

The Hawkeyes have won two in a row after Saturday’s 19-10 home win over Illinois. They’ll be in action on Friday afternoon for a trip to Nebraska.

19)  Auburn Tigers, 8-3

All three of the Tigers losses in 2019 have come to teams ranked in the Top 10. They’ll close out the year against another top squad as they’ll be home for the annual Iron Bowl game versus Alabama.

18) Boise State Broncos, 10-1

The Broncos have a road date with Colorado State on Friday. They’ve already locked up the MW Mountain division and will square off with Hawaii the following week to decide the conference.

17) Cincinnati Bearcats, 10-1

The Bearcats have won nine in a row as they get set for Friday’s road date with Memphis. If they win, they get to host the AAC title game. A loss means they’ll head to Memphis again to decide things.

16) Memphis Tigers, 10-1

The Tigers have won five straight and have a ton riding on Friday’s game with Cincinnati. A win secures the AAC West and puts them in a position to host the conference title game.

15) Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 9-2

While Notre Dame is undoubtedly disappointed that there will be no return appearance to the CFP, the club still has a shot at a 10-win campaign. They’ll be at Stanford on Saturday.

14) Oregon Ducks, 9-2

The Ducks’ dreams of a spot in the CFP were crushed with a road loss at Arizona State. They’ve secured the Pac-12 North and will close out the regular season with a visit from Oregon State.

13) Penn State Nittany Lions, 9-2

The Nittany Lions made it interesting, but they didn’t have enough to get over the hump in a 28-17 loss at Ohio State. The regular season wraps up with a home game versus Rutgers.

12) Michigan Wolverines, 9-2

The Wolverines are playing very well as they get set for the home finale versus Ohio State. The club has ripped off four straight wins, all of which have come by double digits.

11) Wisconsin Badgers, 9-2

The Badgers will be involved in one of Saturday afternoon’s biggest games. They hit the road to take on Minnesota with the Big Ten West crown on the line.

10) Florida Gators, 9-2

The Gators have won two in a row and are headed for a spot in a primo Bowl Game. While not quite what they had in mind, they can still book 10 wins with a victory over visiting Florida State.

9) Baylor Bears, 10-1

The Bears bounced back from their disappointing loss to Oklahoma with a 24-10 home win over Texas. A road trip to Kansas is up next as they look to run the record to 11-1.

8) Minnesota Golden Gophers, 10-1

A close road loss to Iowa killed the Golden Gophers’ dreams of a perfect season, but they managed to rebound with a road victory over Northwestern. They host Wisconsin to decide the Big Ten West.

7) Oklahoma Sooners, 10-1

The Sooners have won three in a row as they get set for a tough regular-season finale at Oklahoma State. A CFP berth is still possible, but Oklahoma will need to impress the rest of the way.

6) Utah Utes, 10-1

If the Utes can handle business at home versus Colorado and take care of Oregon in the Pac-12 title game, they’ll have made a strong case for a spot in the playoffs.

5) Alabama Crimson Tide, 10-1

The Crimson Tide have won two in a row since having their title dreams derailed by LSU. They’ll look to close out the regular season on a high note with a trip to Auburn, but it won’t be easy.

4) Georgia Bulldogs, 10-1

For now, the Bulldogs are in the driver’s seat for the final spot in the CFP. They dispatched Texas A&M on Saturday and will look to do the same with Georgia Tech this week in advance of the SEC title game.

3) Clemson Tigers, 11-0

A trip to South Carolina closes out the regular season for the Tigers. Barring a monumental upset this week or in the ACC title clash, they’re headed to the playoffs once again.

2) Ohio State Buckeyes, 11-0

Penn State provided the Buckeyes with their toughest test of the regular season to date. Another one looms large this weekend with a trip to take on a Michigan team that has been rolling.

1) LSU Tigers, 11-0

A home date with Texas A&M stands in the way of an undefeated regular season for the Tigers. The following week, it’s a date with Georgia to decide the SEC.

The Next 5

Navy Midshipmen. USC Trojans, Iowa State Cyclones, Texas A&M Aggies, SMU Mustangs
Navy and USC have cracked the AP Top 25 this week, while Iowa State is the top vote-getter on the outside looking in. SMU is a solid 9-2, while the Aggies are 7-4 against a very challenging schedule.
