College Football Week 10 Odds, Picks & Prediction: Ohio State vs. Northwestern
A pair of Big 10 foes in opposite scenarios will meet Saturday at Northwestern, as the #2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes take on the Wildcats. At a perfect 8-0, the Buckeyes showed cracks last week for the first time, needing all four quarters to take of Penn State on the road in a game that looked in doubt throughout. Scoring 42 points in the win, the Buckeyes improved to the #2 offensive team in the country, now scoring 48.9 points per game.
Much of the early offensive issues could have been from not having Jaxson Smith-Njigba (hamstring), an elite-level wide receiver who I don’t expect them to rush back for this one.
Northwestern comes into this one with just one win on the season and a program as bad as its been in more than a decade. As of this game, the Wildcats rank amongst the worst in the country across the board offensively, averaging just 17.9 points per game. Look for Ohio State to roll in this one.
