College Football Week 10 Odds, Picks & Prediction: Tennessee vs. Georgia
By far the biggest game of the week is on deck this weekend in Athens, as #3 Tennesee heads south to take on the #1 Georgia Bulldogs. Off to one of the best starts in program history, Tennessee has not only won their first eight but covered seven of them. Led by Heisman candidate Hendon Hooker, this Volunteers offense is #1 in the country in both points scored (49.4) and total yards accrued (553) per game.
The defense, however, continues to leave a lot to be desired, currently ranked #127 in the country in passing yards allowed at 300.8 per game. Now drawing a Georgia offense #8 in the country with 328.1 yards through the air per game could be a serious problem for the Vols. They’re also drawing a Georgia team that has put up 42+ points now in three straight games, going over in two of them.
I like for this total to close higher than it’s currently listed, and think there is value at 65.
